OTD Xmas Day

Looks like my 4th IVF OTD is going to be on Christmas Day. This is my third cycle embryos 5&6), having started treatment in Oct 2018.

Thought I'd be testing the week before so I had time to process the result and get on with making the most of the holidays but my endometrium was 7mm today and then want it to increase more.

Anyone fancy joining me the build up/count down to the 'big day'?

Good shout! @Violet180 We realised yesterday that we were running low on meds so got a new prescription and collected some more supplies from Asda.

I have absolutely no symptoms today at 7dp3dt. Deffo going to be another BFN methinks 🤶🏻

I don’t think it is anymore likely “to become negative” from a test now as it would be a few days after Boxing Day. I think you have to be comfortable as a couple as to how you will deal with the news. I feel so rotten that I pretty much knew I was pregnant and therefore tested. But equally, no symptoms doesn’t mean it isn’t going to be positive as everyone is very different

I planned to keep it a secret and wrap up test for hubby for Xmas day. But ended up telling him yesterday because I felt so dreadful that waiting another week seemed impossible!!! Good luck with whatever you decide

Yeah I hear ya @Anaesthetist83 , sorry that you're feeling so poorly but yay for the BFP!

@FingersXssd83 you never know, I've heard a load of people say that they had no symptoms at all and still got a positive. Hang in there and good luck! x

Thanks for the prompt @Violet180 I need to get a prescription too. I started spotting this morning and I think its too late for implantation bleeding :( The clinic want me to up cyclogest to three times a day. Test day on the 23rd but feeling resigned that it hasn't worked this time. Took a test today (6dp5dt) and there was a very very white space instead of a pink line unfortunately. Wish I could have a glass of mulled wine!

How's everyone getting along? Any symptoms to note?

My boobs have been sore since 6dp3dt, haven't had sustained boob pain on my previous cycles, and I'm getting very sharp pains today 9dp3dt in my left hip. So much so I've been stopped in my tracks.

No two transfers of mine have been the same so it's impossible to tell what's going on in there.

Woke up this morning at 3am, convinced it hasn't worked, and have been googling alternative ways to parenthood like a mad woman. It's nice to at least have some symptoms to cling onto until OTD which is less than a week away now 😳

@FingersXssd83 I would test I tested at 7dt3dt and it was rather clear :) probably would have been there 6dp...... good luck x

I didn’t have any symptoms in the 2ww either x

Thanks @shazzz1xx Think I'm going to keep the hope going a while longer, doing ok atm so don't want to kill the little bit of Christmas cheer I've been feeling today (linked to symptoms!).

Had a lot of hip pain all day but it seems to have subsided now. I'm guessing it'll be wind 🤷🏻‍♀️

I understand.. my OTD was December last year too only about 2 week before Christmas which does make it ..... well a don’t know different a suppose just because it’s christmas time.. hope you get ur wish ⭐️

It’s a BFN for me unfortunately. Just need to focus on having a lovely Christmas with friends and family. Wishing @FingersXssd83 and the rest of you all the best. Xx

So sorry to read about your BFN today @GiseleAnnderson Look after yourself and I hope you feel up to trying again with your frosties very soon. It's great that you have extra goes with your cycle as it's very rare. Hopefully your little one is waiting in that batch ❤️ xx

Im sorry it wasnt the news you were hoping for @GiseleAnnderson You did really well for a first cycle to have 3 frozen and I hope your lucky embryo is amongst them.

I am 6dp5dt and not feeling a thing. Only some stitch like pains on left side this morning. Last cycle where I had a BFP I was so crampy and achy I didn't know what was going on. But this cycle I am only doing lubion injections and no cyclogest pessaries...... maybe that is the difference?

I believe progesterone injections are supposed to be better @Violet180 maybe they are also beneficial for symptoms. It's so hard to guess what's happening - hope you have a peaceful day tomorrow that takes your mind off it all. Not sure how I'm going get through to Saturday! x

Woke up and boobs no longer hurt. Gona be another BFN for me, might as well test today. Merry bloody Christmas ☹️

Well I already tested today. I knew it would be too early but couldnt resist. Couldn't find my cheap boots brand strips so had to use a clearblue with weeks indicator. Bad idea...."not pregnant" is much more confronting than finding no line.

Still have small hope as my OTD is suppose to be 30th and I'm only 7dp5dt

Sorry to hear @Violet180 It must be hard to see that on today of all days as today but like you say, you're in until OTD. Have you been having any symptoms? I feel like testing and then having a few wines.

We are strong. We will get there one way or another 💪🏻 xx

How are you doing? If you haven't tested yet I would convince you not to and just enjoy your christmas.

My husband convinced me to have a coffee as he said one wouldn't matter anyway. Then I cleaned the whole flat and cooked a roast dinner for us both.

I've been a mess tonight at my parents with my siblings and their families there. Had to go upstairs to do my shots etc. My dad kept making comments about our dogs being our 'children' and me mothering them. He knows we're doing IVF ffs!

Boobs feel less sore and deflated 😭

OMG ladies! I got my BFP this morning. Scan is booked 16 Jan. Think I'm in shock.
