So we're nearly at 1000 posts.... setting this up ready for round 2 when the other is full.

I must be the only Essex girl then lol, but we had the storm too! The lightning was crazy like the paparazzi were outside my window, that woke me up more than the thunder!

I was doing vaguely okay diet wise but this week I might have eaten my weight in ice cream, I'll just blame the heat 😉

Speaking of heat, I'm driving DH mad as I'm a bit panicky that we have this short bit of time to reset and get his sperm as good as possible, and what if all his hard work eating right goes out the window because the heat buggers the sperm up? It must be important since men have literally evolved to react to heat with their dangly bits, so poor man has me forcing him to get permission to wear shorts at work and throwing frozen peas at him when he gets in... luckily it's making us laugh, but there's a genuine stress behind it, isn't it ridiculous!

Haha @CloudSway we are the same! Luckily my DP works in an office environment so has air con! He says he is pretty much sitting in direct line of it to keep everything cool 😂🙈

My dh is a chef 🤦‍♀️ just have to hold onto hope that his large sperm count counteracts the heat!!

You've made me fancy an ice cream now @CloudSway!

As a chef he must be in heat all the time, if his count is still good he must have super sperm! (weird compliment)

Really glad it's not just me stressing. It feels like I'm almost looking for things to worry about, I drive myself crazy. Sigh.

I’ve had two magnums and I’m sat in the harden with my feet in a bucket of water hahah!

I always find things to worry about aswell @cloudsway really silly what I do to myself sometimes

@GreyC if it helps I had a chat with a friend who is on clomid about whether to give up alcohol. She's changed her diet but said absolutely no chance she's giving up her few glasses of wine a week and she said if it helps you relax/be happy it's better for you than any stress which would come from being too restrictive. I am reading it starts with the egg too and that also says cut out what you can but so not be too hard on yourself. I think it's a good message. You're all making me want ice creams!

Last night was the hottest! I think it's due to rain all weekend to pay us back for our complaining. I got a positive opk yesterday so think today is O day which is also our anniversary so hopefully good timing! We dtd yesterday and plan to today and tomorrow too. Anyone else find it so much easier when it falls on a weekend 🤣. I think I've resigned myself now to thinking we will need more help but uta hard not to hope. I forget who else on here is unexplained? How do you feel about it?

Happy anniversary @veeboo. Are you doing smep? We didn't dtd last night, too hot! Plus I'm pretty sure of my ovulation day and FF has me at 5dpo now.

I slept like a log last night, the heat just knocked me out I think. Can't wait to go home today, one more meeting and I'm done :)

@veeboo im unexplained aswell its frustrating its like theyr basically sayin somethings wrong but we cant figure out what!

@squirrelnutkins1 I came off the pill in jan 18 so 18 months? What about you? However only the last 6 months am I confident weve had enough sex on the right days due to his ED. So we are in am odd position where we might be unexplained or might be okay and just need more time. It hurts just the same!
@VenusStarr no not smep. We can't dtd enough! So we aim for as much as we can when we know it's my window then for 3 days once I get a positive opk. Weve only actually managed to do all the right days once but weve def caught ovulation day or either side for a number of months now. Sounds like you did all you can this month. Fingers crossed!
@2fingers22018 I totally understand. Its like a blessing and a curse at the same time. Have you read the book 'it starts with the egg'?

@veeboo no but ive heard bits about it im tryin to b more healthy and eat gd exercise etc dtd at all the right times but as u said its hard. Got my nxt appt comin up soon so we ll c what my egg reserve is looking like have u ever had bloods done for it?

I've had my AMH bloods done when I had blood tests and it came back 'good' apparently. I dont know anymore than that. Sounds like you're doing all you can. Fx @2fingers2018

There's so much more of a science to it than I ever imagined before all of this. Makes it so frustrating when it 'just happens' for others but I guess we can view this long road as character building and learning patience, we'll need that for sure when we're all mums!
I see what you mean, at least OH is open to help now and you're managing to make it work. Sounds like you're getting your timings right which is the main thing 😊
This is month 23 for us. Other than having my endometriosis lasered off, we've not actually been labelled with what the problem for us is. I blame it on me which is a hard thing to carry but I'd rather it be me than OH as I think I'd find it hard not to be resentful, as horrible as that sounds 🙁 I sound a right bitch but I think you ladies will know what I mean.

I am furious ladies; I have been trusting my DP to take his fertility vitamins at work with his lunch and I just went to check to see if I need to order and more and he hasn’t been taking them. We have MFI (he’s in denial!) and when I asked him why he said I don’t need to do yet untill we start ivf (next month!) he has been taking them for 3mo this roughly on and off and the consultant even told him continued use is much better than sporadic. I am so so cross. Half my anxiety is due to things such as this and I’m so cross he can’t do this considering everything I have to take and inject myself with despite my chronic fear of bladdy hospitals!!
I the got cross and he’s just thrown it all back in my face saying obviously I’m not in any fit state.
Friday night ruined because I’m putting pressure on him to take a ** vitamin apparently

I don't track as I find it too stressful but when I had my scan on the 9th she said I was ready to ovulate any day and when I had my blood test on 18th it showed I had ovulated.
My last cycle was 26 days long, one before was 32. I'm on day 29 now so goodness knows.
Now I'm just reading how inaccurate clear blue are and telling myself maybe I'm not out yet.

It's really difficult to know for sure @squirrelnutkins1. Take it easy today. It's days like this which I find harder than when AF comes.

Oh @GreyC :( I'm sorry to hear that. It's incredibly unfair of your dh to say you're not ready because of your reaction. Your reaction is justified! Do you think he's struggling with it becoming real? Hope you're feeling better this morning can you sit down together and talk about the process and what each of you needs to do leading up to and during ivf? It's such a stressful time x

I'm 6dpo today, feeling like it's not worked and resigning myself to having that bloody hysteroscopy :( I had a vivid dream this week where I had sudden bleeding, earlier than expected. I'm not woo, but 2 days before my bfp I dreamt about my baby. Then while I was in limbo between scans I had a dream that I was at the follow up scan and they found a 5 week pregnancy but with a slow heartbeat. My scan showed a 5 week pregnancy (I was 9 weeks). So I think my subconscious is trying to tell me something 😔

Hi @VenusStarr I'm okay. 1dpo today so going to try get 1 more dtd in. We had to self inseminate (yuk sorry) yesterday but hopefully that will have been good enough. We dtd the day before when I got the positive so hopefully that plus today covers it. Then it's the tww!

That sounds a bit stressful for you. Try not to read too much into dreams . Hope you're okay.

Thanks @veeboo. My counsellor said to try not to add meaning to things, but it's hard. My work gave me a lovely orchid after the miscarriage, fully in bloom. Then last month all the flowers started drying up and dying. I've only got 2 left now. I had thought that maybe it was because I was pregnant and it was signalling the start of something new. But it's not. I don't know if this is anxiety or what, but I know it's not that normal and it doesn't even bring me comfort or hope. It's weird how my brain is working at the moment 😔

Glad you're in your tww now. Hopefully in a couple of weeks you'll get some happy news 🤞 x
