@VenusStarr its hard to not nag tho isnt it? I dnt want sex to b a chore but it almost has to b to increase our chances

All i keep hearin off ppl r these stories of a friend of a friend who got pregnant just before ivf its like a bloody urban legend!

@squirrelnutkins1 stay away from the hole!! I'm sorry it's made you feel shitty. When that happens to me I just try and think that whatever has happened to them does not impact my chances. You're doing all you can. Xx

@VenusStarr and @2fingers20218 I just think tempting will tip my overthinking over the edge...I might do it next month maybe. Oh 2fingers that's just so bloody unhelpful isnt it. One of my friends on the weekend said she knows loads of people who got pregnant when they just stopped trying. I was like "clearly we aren't stopping trying"!

Also re the scheduled sex...my DP uses viagra and when he can't or doesn't feel like it he does his business in a pot and we inseminate. It's not sexy but it is easy and the clinic told us it's fine. We actually we have more sex now because he doesn't feel so pressured. You can get viagra from the pharmacy now.

I agree with people with babies who don’t ‘deserve’ them.
What really gets on my nerves is people who are so unhealthy!!
I’ve been dieting for years on and off. My BMI is 24 so healthy for my height however trying to lose the 6 pounds to really get me there. I excerise twice a week (swimming and boot camp class!) and horse ride at least three times a week.
We had a sneaky chinese tonight as DH is going away for the rest of the week as a treat and I hate myself for eating it and enjoying 😢 Am I the only one?!

Hope that doesn’t make me sound ungrateful but someone I know just keeps having babies and they are hugely unhealthy and I do everything right and still can’t get anywhere

Hi @GreyC makes complete sense. I've been reading about avoiding BPAs in plastics and it's made me wonder how if I shouldn't be using a plastic water bottle, how anyone gets pregnant at all! Why do we need to make all these changes when others dont?...That said I hope your chinese was delicious. Being happy and calm is also important!

I agree @GreyC and @veeboo, why do we have to try so hard and it still doesn't happen, when others can just seemingly decide to have a baby and oh there it is!

Negative opk this evening, so definitely something is happening / has happened. Had quite a lot of twinges today. Hopefully I don't wake up to early tomorrow and can't measure my bbt on time and it's temperature is still up. Just had a chat with dh about the plan - feeling like he's not that keen to dtd. He said I'm overthinking things... Of course I am! I think about nothing else!!

Had a nice evening with my sister and her children. Put my nephew to bed and read him a story. Felt a pang of wishing that I was putting my own child to bed. Feeling guilty that I've pretty much neglected my auntie role for quite a while, since before the miscarriage really. It started a long time ago. Forced myself to go round and glad I did.

Those of you were asking about healthy eating I would suggest if you haven’t then start as once you start with the meds all healthy eating will go out of the window! I am back on it now so no alcohol only one coffee a day lots of protein and veg/salad and easy on the carbs! Did stop the vitamins but back on them too and Am trying to get back to the gym and get active again! Will be ringing the clinic early next week to arrange my next consultation to see what the plan is and take it from there! Feeling motivated at the moment but do have my wobbles at times.

@2fingers22018 can he not do a sample prior to it and have it frozen? I’m sore I’ve read it somewhere might help? Xx

@2fingers22018 you can order viagra online. It is seriously nothing for him to be embarrassed about but I know you know that. He has got to do all he can. I know how tough it is but I literally gave DP an ultimatum in the end but it did work. I said I wasn't prepared to have treatment if he hadn't tried all he could first. Our situation a bit different to yours as it was always a problem but now hes got treatment it is better and most importantly he is happier.

@VenusStarr glad you've ovulated and dtd on the right days. Fx. I will hopefully join you in the tww soon.

I feel bad for her too she should be able to enjoy her baby without feeling guilty its soo shit!

Morning everyone, looks like I'm in my tww. Fertility friend has ovulation on cd10 but I think it was Monday. Af is now due on the day I go to dh's godson's christening 😔

Hi ladies, so sorry I've been mia and keeping you in suspense!! We have been quite stressed lately, not so bad now as things are looking on the up again. My partner was unfairly dismissed because it was "quiet", but luckily found new job really quickly, and I was told I had a month to find something else, to now not needing to go?! Obviously I'm looking now though and have been to interviews as I'm not feeling like I could lose it at anytime when it suits them!!
Anyway, I think it's a blessing in disguise as we're both so much happier at the moment, so just hope I can get a new job soon and things will settle down again.
Hope everyone is ok. So sorry I haven't read through yet as I've missed so much. Will catch up soon, just wanted to let you all know I've been thinking of you and just to let you know I'm still here.

I’ve given myself abit of a talking to to stop fixating on everything that I eat etc etc. I need to be happy and healthy and that includes eating the right and then the treats too.
Have rode everyday so far this week and swam most evenings so feeling really good :)

@Kelly199 welcome back! We've all been worried! So pleased you're ok. What a horribly stressful time for you! Glad you're seeing it as a blessing in disguise. That wouldn't make me feel very safe in employment! Glad to have you back xxx

@VenusStarr I've been feeling quite positive so that's nice lol! But no inkling tww wise. I'm on cd26. Last month AF arrived out of the blue the next day with no warning so we'll see. I won't test I don't think, well maybe on sat cus we're going out for the day and if it's negative I'll have a few drinks!! Sorry about AF being due on the christening day, sucky timing ☹️

Did anyone else have a massive thunder storm in the middle of the night last night? It was crazy here! Xx

Thunder storm was insane here. I’m in Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire boarder and it lasted a good while with lots of lightning

I'm east midlands too. It was the rain that initially woke me up, sounded like the shower was on! I was hoping it would have cleared the air a bit but still super muggy today. I hate it 🙊@GreyC

@GreyC ur always exercising dnt b soo hard on urself i know its easier said than done but as u said treats are treats theyr allowed💗ive done nuthin but eat junk food all wk im my own worst enemy! Ive got the cold soo thats my excuse🤒😳

West mids here, I woke up, didn't get up to watch though. Dh slept right through it! But he heard the rain, it was so heavy! Kind of want another one tonight, it did clear the air a bit but its not lasted. Have managed to come to yoga, fell asleep when I got in so wasn't sure if make it!

Lots of midlands ladies! Makes us all even more connected in a strange way!

I know I punish myself far to much my DO always says it. I thinn it’s because I can have some control over it where as everything is out of my control to some extent. My dogs slept through it all which was a relief as I know some dogs don’t like thunder storms and such happen like!
