Hi, I've just been booked for a hycosy next week. Has anyone had one before and can you tell me what to expect? Thanks!

Hi OP, I had one last year, it's a little uncomfortable but not too bad, I had a few pains but nothing too intense. I hope that helps a little xxx

I had one and it isn't bad - just focus on it being one more step towards help conceiving.

To be honest, mine was painful. Lots of people told me it was going to be fine so I was worried something had gone wrong. I guess everyone is different. You will be fine and Im pretty sure the pain stopped as soon as the procedure finished.

Yep it was super easy. Tiny bit of cramping but nothing to write home about

Though I'm used to endometrial biopsies and hysteroscopies and uterine washes so I'm quite used to balloon catheters and the like!
