I'm on 2nd cycle of clomid (50mg CD2-6) and am on CD7 now - anyone else out there the same?!

More questions from me I'm afraid!!

Has everyone had regular cycles on clomid? Or is anyone still a little bit irregular like me:
Month 1 - 34 days
Month 2 - 32 days

Now on month 3 I'm on day 35 and no sign of AF yet....bit reluctant to test as before clomid I've had up to 38 day cycles. Just assumed medication would even things out but I guess I'm wrong?

doomkittycleo · 19/01/2017 21:52

accidental, do you track your cycles? Did you get a temp rise/+ve opk?

If so how many dpo are you?

accidentalgrownup · 19/01/2017 22:19

I've tried opks but never got a strong positive, I do ovulate though. When I had my follicle tracking I ov'd on CD21 so if it's similar this month I'm around 14 DPO. I don't temp and my cm is non existent with clomid.
Maybe I'll test in the morning then AF is bound to arrive, it normally does!

doomkittycleo · 19/01/2017 22:29

I'd give it till Sunday personally. I've got af at 15dpo and 16dpo past couple of cycles.

Footy1 · 20/01/2017 12:14

My cycles have been all over the show from 23 days to 40 days on clomid. Think some cycles work and some don't.

Cd8 Starfor me. Not a lot happening. Things getting better with DH but not great. No dtd yet.
I was very obsessed before but since things not been great with DH I've stopped using opks and take the odd temp here and there but hardly tracking at all. It's def added to our marital problems so I've tried to step away, bit difficult to forget about ttc though. I want it more by not trying!

KP86 · 20/01/2017 19:28

My cycles have generally been 35-42 days on clomid. I'm not 100% certain I always ovulate though.

Currently on CD24, having ovulated around 20-21, so fingers crossed. Another week or 10 days to wait!

doomkittycleo · 21/01/2017 08:56

I'm CD13 today. Have stopped tracking this month seeing as they have referred me for ivf, but it is still a clomid cycle.

We BD'd last night, and I will try and make sure we keep doing it over the next few days, just in case we get luck.

You hear a lot of people saying that as soon as they were referred, they got caught naturally.

Footy, I understand how you feel, it must be so stressful, not knowing if your DH is still on board.

I had a chat to my DP very briefly last night and he just said if he had any issues with anything that he'd tell me. So when I said, does that mean your ok with going for ivf, he said "I think so."

I'm betting he'll be the one asking all the questions when we go to the clinic.

doomkittycleo · 21/01/2017 21:05

Oh ffs, my sister just told me she's gotten pregnant by a 1 night stand 😢.

KP86 · 21/01/2017 21:17

Oh, doom. Grrrrr!

Footy1 · 22/01/2017 08:43

Accidental, how you getting on? Did AF arrive?

Oh doom, sorry you must feel sad it's not you too. Flowers it's horrible when u hear the announcements from friends and family and you just wish it was you.

Had few cramps at cd 8 with EWCM but nothing since. Took temp this morning as I wondered if I'd ovulated but it's still pretty in the normal range. I'm cd10 today.

accidentalgrownup · 22/01/2017 09:59

That's really crap doom....I have a SIL in a similar situ, she's having number 3 to 3rd different dad and really not too fussed about it.

Still no AF here, we're away at the mo so can't test but I'm pretty sure she's on her way, had incredibly sore boobs last night / this morn which normally means it not far off ☹️

doomkittycleo · 22/01/2017 09:59

It's just more upsetting that it's from a one night stand. She didn't even get the guys last name.

I mean I am happy for her, cus she's been upset when I've been going through my infertility, saying cus she's still single at 32, that she might never get to have kids, but as there are no children in either mine or DP's family (not even from cousins) there was part of me looking forward to being the first.

I know that probably sounds stupid and awful, but my thoughts are all stupid and awful atm.

Figroller · 22/01/2017 12:31

Oh Doom that's rubbish. Don't beat yourself up for how you are feeling either, it's a natural reaction. I have been there too. Glad things are moving forward for you with your IVF referral.

Nice to see you back footy. Hope things are going OK at home.

Fingers crossed for everyone in the tww.

Sorry I've been absent for a while just been busy. Cd 22 here. Not expecting much as we hardly dtd this cycle. I have a prescription for my last round of clomid, then I'm not sure what's next.

KP86 · 22/01/2017 12:33

It only takes one, FigRoller. Good luck.

bummymummy77 · 22/01/2017 19:06

Sorry Doom. My sil keeps moaning about being pregnant again and how having two under two is going to be awful. Urgh. Off you fuck please dear.

bummymummy77 · 22/01/2017 19:07

Just finished my first round of clomid. The sweats! Yuk. And since I've finished the mood swings are awful. Like the worst Oma ever.

bummymummy77 · 22/01/2017 19:07

Pmt lol not Oma.

KP86 · 22/01/2017 19:41

My mood swings for my first cycle were HORRENDOUS. My poor DS (2.8) could do no right. This time was ok though.

bummymummy77 · 22/01/2017 19:53

I yells at ds (3) for the first time ever yesterday. I actually made him cry. I've been crying about it on and off all morning. Not sure this is helpful to either conceiving or the happiness of our family to be honest. Can you take a break for a month or is it accumulative?

KP86 · 22/01/2017 20:04

You can have a break as far as I know.

You've done amazingly if you reached 3yo without yelling!

bummymummy77 · 22/01/2017 20:14

My doctor said the same (about the break not the yelling). Grin

Figroller · 22/01/2017 21:46

I was wondering whether to take a month break as well before my last cycle. Do you think it would be ok then?

accidentalgrownup · 22/01/2017 22:04

Think I'm going to take a break this cycle too when AF finally arrives....need a break from counting down the days! It works on each cycle independently so it shouldn't make a difference at all

bummymummy77 · 23/01/2017 01:52

Great! Dh will be happy. I've driven him insane this month!

Footy1 · 24/01/2017 07:06

Just woken up at cd12 and feel really queasy! Possibly approaching ovulation. Wondering if it's the clomid? Anyone else have this? I had last cycle off, but previously had 6 rounds.

I'm also wondering if the clomid has increased our marital probs. I apparently am "so sensitive " and get moody over things. I definitely felt better without it.
