Clomid anyone else?

I'm on 2nd cycle of clomid (50mg CD2-6) and am on CD7 now - anyone else out there the same?!

My cervix feels low hard and closed all month long. I've never felt it high or soft in 2 years of ttc 🙁

Morning, I decided not to test and looks like I made the right decision as I have started spotting now. I need to ring the clinic and arrange another prescription as I have used all the clomid they gave me.

That's strange doom. Do you definitely ovulate?

Scan went well. Got an 18mm egg that should pop over the weekend. Back on Monday for a 4th scan to check it's gone. Getting a bit sick of scans now!

She told me to carry on doing every other day. Has anyone's clinic said it's ok to do every day?! Can't decide what to do?!

I'd be 11/12dpo today.
I was told by my gyne to do every other day until near ovulation and then to do every day over the fertile days. Then after possible ovulation to go back to every other days.

So sorry fig about spotting. Hope it's implantation spotting?? Are u temping? What's your temp today?

Few cramps for me today so AF might be approaching. My temp was 36.81 today.

Sorry crossed post with you Fig, I did have a bit of spotting when af was due when I was pregnant with DS so all might not be lost yet?

Interesting how they all say different things Footy. Are you going to test?

No not testing until Sunday. AF would def be either here or terrible pains for its arrival.
I do have a FRER and few IC ones but going to ride it out. Fed up seeing blanks.

Well they told me that I wasn't ovulating, hence the Clomid. Didn't check this month cus I'm so used to it being the same all the time.

Thanks Malbec and Footy I think it is start of AF though, this is usually how it starts for me. I'm not temping Footy, I find it affects my sleep thinking about it. Good luck to you for Sunday testing. I have my fingers firmly crossed for you.

Looking on the bright side I don't have to be monitored anymore. It was getting to be a pain taking time out of work. I have rang the clinic and they have my prescription ready for me to pick up.

Your scan results sound promising Malbec. Fingers crossed for you too. I was told every other day would be fine by my clinic.

Do you not have to be monitored after a certain amount of time Fig? I don't know if I could face this many scans every month! I think we are going to do EOD and just hope for the best! Thanks, I'm hoping for good progesterone results. That's my biggest worry but it's a while off yet until I know!

In my area they only monitor you for the first cycle Malbec. Although I've been monitored for three because I didn't ovulate on the first two.

Ah I see. I'll find out on Monday what my clinic do I guess! How many more months did they give you?

How are you today fig? Did AF kick in? Sorry if it has.

I'm quite glad too that I don't have to go to scans - was hard enough info fitting in the gynae appointments every 12 weeks as my hospital is an hours drive so pretty much took up the whole afternoon.

So temp is still high 36.73, have sensitive nipples now and some very likely AF cramps. Was quite hot in the night. Feeling a bit down already just waiting for AF.

Remind me again Footy, is it you that's got 2 DS already? Would be great actually if everyone could redo their stats? My memory is rubbish at the min!

I'm 29, 1 DS, on first round of clomid 50mg for irregular periods - really just a short luteal phase.

If you're 13dpo now Footy, you should be expecting AF tomorrow? Hope she doesn't come for you. If she does, are you feeling more optimistic about ovulating next month? Maybe you'll just be a late ovulator so don't get the period inducing drug this time? I guess that's the benefit of the scans, they know exactly what's going on in there. Stressful!

Yes I'd be due AF tomorrow.
Cramps eased off a bit. I'll test in morning if nothing happens today or by the morning. I usually have really bad AF cramps by now.
Yes I'd be grateful to get AF naturally this month if no BFP so at least then I should ovulate a bit later next cycle.

I'm 34, one dd, ttc 2 1/2 years, 3rd round of clomid.

The spotting stopped yesterday but has started again this morning Footy and I have some cramps. Think AF will show up in full force later today. Sounds like you are still in with a chance, let us know if you test tomorrow.

They have only given me 2 more rounds on the prescription Malbec. I was under the impression I would get 6 full rounds so I'm going to ring them. Have you noticed any ovulation signs yet?

Hi guys, just seen everyone's stats so here's mine;

I'm 29, DP is 44. TTC 2 years in January, neither of us have any children yet.

I've never had a bfp, chemical or otherwise.

I have a fairly regular cycle, between 25 and 32 days, but fairly light. Always get +ve opk's, but Dr said no ovulation due to x2 day 21 progesterone levels.

I usually get plenty of ewcm around same time as +ve opk's, but not this cycle (50mg Clomid, first month).

I did have slightly high prolactin one cycle, but the next cycle it was normal again. Dr said may have been due to stress.

DP had a great semen analysis.

AF is due Friday.

Joining in with the stats update.... I'm 35, DH 33. 1 DD (conceived naturally). 16 months TTC, currently clomid round 2. Diagnosed with underactive thyroid & PCO.

CD20 of a 34 day cycle.

Good luck today too Fig. Yeah lots of ovulation signs. I had a negative OPK on Friday and then a positive one yesterday and today so ovulation must be imminent. I'm a bit concerned that I won't have ovulated by the morning though and if I've not then I'll be back for another scan I bet.

Doom, I've had a few cycles where I've ovulated later, but I always get EWCM at the time I was supposed to ovulate, so clearly my body is gearing up but not managing. I wonder if that's what's been happening with you? Hopefully clomid will sort you out anyway. You must be nearing AF/BFP time now?

Did you try for long with your DD accidental?

I'm 24, no dc although fell pregnant naturally just over 2 years ago but ended in a miscarriage at 17 weeks.

2 rounds of Clomid of 50mg days 2-6 and got my BFP yesterday although I am going to get a clear blue digital today because my partner won't believe me until he sees it clearly written! A faintish line isn't good enough .. men ay!

I hope you all get your BFPs soon!

Clomid seems to make my AF more heavy and painful, anyone else? I was up in the night with the pain and I don't usually suffer. Need to go and collect my prescription today. Back on the clomid tomorrow.

Wantingabud - first cycle at 50mg for me... what sort of symptoms are you having (and everyone else)?

I had headaches and now very sore breasts and been waking up from 3am and very tired this week (it's 1 day before AF is due). That's the same as my last too conceptions (both ended in MC) but this time my cm seems to have dried up almost completely which makes me think it's just side effects from the Clomid. Can't really face doing a test as I don't want bad news...

There's no point testing till af is late. I've had too many bfn's for that one. I'm 10dpo and all cm has also pretty much dried up now. Not feeling very hopeful now as nothing is any different from any other cycle.

Malbec, I've always had AF 12-14 days after the last day of ewcm, so when Dr said I wasn't ovulating I was pretty surprised.

Hi, temp still up at 36.60, AF hasn't arrived.
Sore boobs today - pretty much same as your symptoms everythingtoplayfor! I woke up at 3, then 6 and could not get back to sleep my boobs hurting when I rolled over.
Hot skin & horny! Even dtd last night and today to see if AF needed encouragement?! Crazy!!
BUT still have AF cramps, so giving it another day as then I'll be officially late.
Chart looks good with 14 high temps above 36.60!! Best so far. Trying so hard to not get my hopes up.

Fig no my periods are so light on clomid, one month I only spotted almost missed it. The pains are bad but only for a day or so. Have heard from others that they are bad.

DD was a happy accident Malbec....AF was really irregular back then & id drank myself through our engagement party & Christmas before we found out (I was almost 11weeks pg & just thought I had a sickness bug - didn't realise you could have morning sickness all day).
