We have relocated from the conception board where we were previously chatting under the thread 'ttc for 10 months or more'. A lot of us are now long term ttc-ers and are going through infertility treatment or looking to take steps in this direction so we feel this might be a more suitable home for us!

Feel free to stop by and say hi and hopefully we can share the journey together and make it a little easier along the way!

I'm the same Lucie, I was worrying about cramps, then yesterday I had none and my boobs weren't sore anymore. So I was petrified. I got a 3+ on the clearblue this morning so I feel a little better. I'm constantly on knicker watch too. I'm gonna try and hold it together and get a viability scan done.

bananafish81 · 17/09/2016 08:14

Sorry ladies. FRER is still very much BFN and the superdrug is no different to yesterday, so I think the bloods will show this is a chemical, and hopefully we will be able to draw a line under things swiftly Sad

lucieloos · 17/09/2016 08:20

Oh banana I'm so sorry was really hoping it might have got darker today Flowers

Hugs Banana.

loopylou1984 · 17/09/2016 08:23

So sorry to hear that banana. I was hoping for a good result this morning.

If it's not to be then let's just hope that this is all over quickly for you. What time are your bloods and when will you get the result? Xx

bananafish81 · 17/09/2016 08:26

Thanks ladies

Bloods at 1130, and consultant will call with the results this afternoon

Hope they are more conclusive and this doesn't drag out for ages

JustTrixie · 17/09/2016 09:27

I'm so sorry Banana. A similar thing happened to me last year, faint bfp at 8dp5dt and again on 9dp5dt but blood test hcg was only 3.8. It's horrible.

Lucie, brown definitely sounds like left over from implantation. Like Sammy says, take it nice and easy.

I can see it too MrsRen!

Brenna and MPP, glad I'm not the only one - I have e-mail updates everyday from Rightmove for different areas. We are actually going to check out an area we may move to today.

MrsRen · 17/09/2016 10:25

Big hugs banana, sorry it wasn't a good result xxx

Paige43 · 17/09/2016 10:37

Lots of love banana xxx

maplebaby · 17/09/2016 13:08

Banana FlowersFlowers so sorry to hear that this morning. Thinking of you xx

bananafish81 · 17/09/2016 14:44

Aaarrrrgggghhh. So frustrating. Dr just emailed me.

Still in limbo. Looks like a chemical but still can't put it to bed until we've done repeat bloods on Monday to be sure.

"The BhCG has risen to 14 and the progesterone is 41.6

It is a small rise but still very early in the cycle to be 100 per cent sure. I realise it is frustrating but it is worth waiting 48 hours and repeating the test on Monday."

Hopefully Monday will be more conclusive and we can draw a line under things then.

lucieloos · 17/09/2016 14:58

Oh banana, that's frustrating! I wonder why the frer isn't picking it up at all as I'm sure they register anything from 6. It has more than doubled in the 48 hours so you never know x

loopylou1984 · 17/09/2016 18:34

Oh banana - so annoying. It seems low but your doctor obviously thinks there's a chance? Xx

bananafish81 · 18/09/2016 07:49

FRER still showing BFN but superdrug showing a squinter today. I have a horrible feeling tomorrow may be inconclusive as well. Although if it's still super low at 11dp5dt that might be sufficiently far along to say with such low hCG at this stage it is a chemical pregnancy and not viable. Really hope this doesn't keep dragging on.

loopylou1984 · 18/09/2016 07:58

Do you think your FRERS could be faulty? Surely they should be showing something as the super drug one is misses the point totally

What 'should' hcg levels be at 16dpo? Is it possible to be 38/40 (what yours would be doubled) and still be viable?

loopylou1984 · 18/09/2016 07:58

28/30*

lucieloos · 18/09/2016 08:17

Banana, that's really strange! I've never used superdrug before so don't know what they are like. Are they known for evaps? Did it come up quickly?

I have a good pic that I use to see what betas should be on each day. It gives the average beta but also gives the lowest beta that somebody had a successful pregnancy with.

Morning All,

Banana that still looks good to me, fingers crossed its a slow burner!

I've taken another test this morning and it looks doubly dark than Friday's but still quite light. It was a tesco own brand. I've got a frer and a digi on order to pick up tomorrow. Being quote cautious though.

I used the ring trick today :-)

bananafish81 · 18/09/2016 08:33

Don't know about evaps but ladies on other threads said they only got BFP on FRER after superdrug hence giving them a go

Superdrug says 10iu. FRER actually doesn't say on the box or leaflet

If I really squint there's something on FRER. Put the ring on it and all I get is shadow so that's not terribly helpful!!

Progesterone seemed pretty rubbish to me too - so with everything so low I can't imagine this will be viable. Hopefully Monday we will just be able to put this one to bed, as at 10dp5dt today, I should be getting stronger positives.

lucieloos · 18/09/2016 08:44

What about a digi banana? They register 10+ for 1-2 weeks.

Mrs Ren, looking good. Good luck with the frer and digi.

OP posts:
bananafish81 · 18/09/2016 09:09

Looks good Mrs!

I'll buy some more tests today and try a digi

Really hope this doesn't drag out and fizzle out slowly. Would rather definitively pull the plug if it's clear it's not going anywhere.

loopylou1984 · 18/09/2016 09:22

Eek Mrsren! Exciting. When does your frer arrive although lost faith a little after bananas tests this morning!

Banana - I am really hoping for higher hcg for you on Monday , high enough for this to be a pregnancy without any doubt. I feel like everything has been so hard and mysterious for you that an unusual start to pregnancy would fit. If that can't be though then I hope you're hcg has gone down, then you can be sure and the waiting will be over. Flowers

Brenna24 · 18/09/2016 12:01

I still have everything crossed for you Banana. I think the FRER are 12.5 iU.

That looks like a line to me MrsRen.

MrsRen · 18/09/2016 12:26

Everything crossed for you Banana!

Tests should come to local Boots tomorrow but will wait till Tues give it a chance to double again. Need to show the unused test to DH so he can fully compare the window before and after and not just take my word for it that it's blank lol
