I don't think anyone has started the new thread yet? Apologies if so and ignore this one if its already been done

I'm hoping by the end of this thread I'll be waiting and impatient for a new arrival fingers crossed

I really don't think it's implantation spotting this early? Especially as my embryo wasn't very far advanced when transferred!
I'm not sure we are gonna go through all this again if it doesn't work so there's even more pressure this time :( I'm just so drained physically and emotionally, have been through quite a lot over the years (as I know all of us on here have)
these steroids are making me SO HUNGRY!!!

I think embryos implant from day 6-9 (?i may be wrong) so it could be ? Someone else who knows more might be able to tell you as I'm not completely sure

My transfer was Saturday so defo can't be implantation then.

But it was a 5 day blast wasn't it ? Meaning today day 8? So might be !

I think they 'hatch' around day 5-6 then start to burrow in

I thought it was counted from day after transfer? This is so confusing lol!
Wat was urs when transferred?

I had a day 2 embryo transferred on Friday

It is confusing.....maybe I've got it wrong but I thought an embryo at the day 5-6 stage started 'hatching' and would then implant between days 6-9 or 6-10 ? Which if I'm right would mean you could be getting implantation spotting...

Which clinic do u go to? I didn't even know u could have a day 2 put in!!?? Was there a reason it wasn't left for longer?
It's the bloody waiting that drives me crazy I start questioning everything and analysing everything etc! Then when it comes to the day I don't even want to do the bloody test lol.

Day two is not ideal, they just froze two on day two and one on day three. I think as I didn't have many embryos by that point they wanted to freeze something (I'm at create)
I've read a few day two success stories online but I think the greater success rates are day 3 and even more so with day 5/6 hence why I'm not too sure how this cycle will go

Well we will find out soon I guess....not soon enough though!

I had periody cramps in my 2ww. I told myself it was likely the progesterone rather than mythical implantation cramping - but it turns out it was the latter!!

The thing is I think cramps can be a sign of both good and bad, also because my period would have been due any time now my body is probably cramping like it would have been??!!
It really is just a waiting game isn't it!

It's horrid isn't it, I keep getting snappy and then tearful. It's a combination of stress and progesterone I think x

Yes it sure is and there's still so long until test day! I act feel like I'm gonna come on my period tbh and the more I think about it the worse my cramps feel and the moodier I get! Ivf has got to be one of the hardest things to go through! I feel like an absolute wreck at the mo.

I know! It's really dragging this time for me as well. I have a weird 'hot' uncomfy feeling in my uterus and where I think my ovaries are.its very uncomfortable.

I can't wait to start testing early, I just need to know so badly

I'm now feeling very bloated and uncomfy. Left side seems worse but I have a lump on r side of abdomen. I'm wondering if that's because the lead follicle was that side. Something's def going on but not sure it's what's meant to be happening.
I look ever so swollen this evening, and feel it too, very uncomfy. No temperature or discharge so not an infection like I had last time. I'm wondering if it's just the combination of meds side effects. Hopefully in the morning I'll feel more 'normal'!

Tillyanne - I was also taking norethisterone for a week, so a few days after completing that course I had AF. It was supposed to get rid of an ovarian cyst, don't know if that did pass thru but was certainly in a lot of pain and heavy bleeding. Not sure that there is a difference between spray and jabs, the spray seems to be standard at my clinic for downregging.
They do the baseline scan on day 8 of stimms, I ve no idea why as that does not seem to be very usual from what I ve read on here. I had a blood test to check I was suppressed.
Tap - I think am just 1 day behind you, have been on buserelin spray for 2.5 weeks, and I started menopur on Fri evening, with my scan this Fri.

Hi Ladies hope you are all feeling better tomorrow, we had our appt at Cambridge IVF today and we have been asked to choose a clinic and had our STI blood tests ready to sending off for funding!! So excited!!! First time IVFers

How are u feeling this morning waiting? When are u going to start testing?
I had a rotten night sleep this is about the 4th night now! Head is pounding :( not sure if it's the steroids because apparently they can cause insomnia, I'm only on a small dose tho.

I really want to test but at same time I don't! I just have that same niggling feeling it's gonna be negative I just know it! I'm so anxious all the time got constant butterflies in my tummy and feel sick, worried I'm making it not work by being so damn stressed but how on earth are u supposed to stay calm during the 2ww!! Easy for people to say!

I found guided meditation and adult colouring books a godsend during the 2ww when I was climbing the walls going absolutely hatstand

Hate saying this I feel bad but I don't have time really for that stuff as I have a child....u would think that would take my mind off of it but I'm finding myself getting irritated and moody :( just want to cry. He keeps asking me when is my brother or sister coming (I haven't even told him about me trying!)
