If so, please join the club. Let's keep each other going!

In our case, we're going abroad for ours - Norway. What about you?

It is an ancient Inca grain - which is a complex protein :). Very bland but a good bulker in soups and salads.

Everhopeful76 · 09/03/2016 10:01

Right then... Going ahead with egg collection on hopefully fri.waiting to hear about slot. Lead follicle 19 mm, 2 nd one 14 mm and 2 others lagging just behind that, 1 tiny and 2 endo cysts.consultant was quite negative saying my response was even poorer than expected but then said possibly would get 3 eggs. So am going with that

muddyboots · 09/03/2016 14:23

I'm done. 12 eggs collected and I'm on the train back to my sister's. Feel a bit 'crampy' but otherwise well.

Despite trying to avoid this for the whole of my adult life, my eggs are now being mixed up with a stranger's sperm! Arghhhhhhh!

Any news Goingcrazy? I was thinking of you whilst I was donning my hairnet this morning. Hope it's gone ok.

Goingcrazy53 · 09/03/2016 15:40

Good job Muddyboots!

I'm currently hiding under my duvet feeling sorry for myself. We only got 4 eggs from 14 follicles so feeling very disappointed at the moment. :-(

NotSpartacus · 09/03/2016 19:03

Don't feel sad, goingcrazy, it is quality not quantity that counts.

That made me laugh, muddyboots, it really is quite an odd situation.

Glad you are both ok post collection.

Everhopeful76 · 09/03/2016 19:30

Well done ladies

I am hoping for quality over quantity too at my v small collection on Friday

Looking forward to an anaesthetic and being away from me and my ivf emotions for 20 mins!!!!

Kwick709 · 09/03/2016 22:23

Well done muddy and going you are both amazeballs :)

Please keep us posted on fertilisation!!!!

I did not have to don a hairnet Confused.... Am feeling strangely left out...

westergille · 11/03/2016 14:18

Sorry I've not posted this week - 2ww was driving me crazy. But OTD was today and I thought you might like to know that I got a BFP!!

goinggrey1978 · 11/03/2016 18:07

westergille, brilliant news, i've got another baseline scan next week, so fingers crossed that the cyst that my donor lady had has dispersed now!!

NotSpartacus · 11/03/2016 19:40

Woo hoo westergille, that's brilliant.

Fingers crossed for a super lucky thread for us all.

Kwick709 · 11/03/2016 20:43

CONGRATULATIONS wester Star !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how are things going muddy and going?

NotSpartacus · 12/03/2016 12:01

kwick when you had your hysteroscopy what were the instructions from the clinic? Mine is booked for Monday and I have no info about when to eat last, when to turn up etc, and a very full work schedule!!

Am getting pretty cross with them. I also do not yet have a correct prescription (last norethisterone will be on Monday so may well start stimming next week) and my original treatment plan was based on the doctor misreading my AMH levels. These people are not filling me with confidence. I don't have time to chase them, as I am too busy making sure that my clients don't constantly have to chase me! Enough ranting, can anyone tell I am a bit nervous??!

Everhopeful76 · 12/03/2016 15:04

Congrats westerville. Great news

After a nail biting week amidst cancellation suggestions I got to egg collection y day. They managed to get 2 so am hoping 1 or both is golden. Other follicles just did not catch up. So will get to know tomorrow re translating to embryo

NotSpartacus · 12/03/2016 15:58

Well done Ever. I'm sure that's the hard part over. Fingers crossed for the next bit.

Goingcrazy53 · 12/03/2016 15:58

Fantastic news Westergille!

Everhopeful - fingers crossed for good news tomorrow. I hope your feeling well after collection.

I have two embies on board. One ok quality, the second was OK but has started fragmenting apparently. Nothing to freeze. I'm struggling to feel any sort of excitement...it just feels like I'm following the same path as our previous cycles, only this time the stakes are higher as we have agreed this is our last go as we can't put ourselves through this again.

Hugs to all
X

Kwick709 · 12/03/2016 16:17

That is great news ever!!! Please keep us posted!

notspartacus are you not with CRGH? Sorry they are not taking better care of you. So the nil by mouth bit will depend on when you are booked in for - they normally call you the day before & text instructions - I had mine in the afternoon so was allowed water up til a certain point - but definitely nothing to eat from the the night before.

goingcrazy my heart goes out to you Flowers but all you need is one right? Wrap yourself in cotton wool. I will keep my fx for you.

NotSpartacus · 12/03/2016 17:21

Thanks Kwick. If i dont hear from them tomorrow I'll call the mobile number they have on the website. And then I guess I have to hope H@H can deliver my drugs quickly. Did any of yours need refrigerating? I'll be on zomacton, fostimon, merional and cetrotide.

Kwick709 · 13/03/2016 08:13

notspartacus zomacton needs to go in the fridge. I did not take cetrotide so am not sure but fostimon and merional do not go in the fridge. Fx you get a call this morning. H@H are fast - I had a delay as I requested a saturday delivery.

Goingcrazy53 · 13/03/2016 08:30

Notsparticus- I took Cetrotide, it doesn't need to be kept in the fridge either.

Everhopeful76 · 13/03/2016 15:36

Hello lovely feb threaders😍

So...had good news this morning that had 2 embryos fertilise from only 2 eggs. Just couldn't believe it. Thought my odds were of a sinking ship

So in view of my age and so few eggs the embryologists were keen to transfer so I now have them on board. Exciting!!!

Everhopeful76 · 13/03/2016 15:38

Kwik how r u feeling now ur almost 1 week into the 2ww. R u finding it ok keeping distracted and positive?

Everhopeful76 · 13/03/2016 15:39

How r u doing going crazy?

Kwick709 · 13/03/2016 16:37

ever this is fab news! Take it easy and keep up PMA!
Btw how long have you been told to wait before testing?

I am symptom spotting like crazy.... Very sore boobage (but this is progesterone gel and injections), headache for last 24 hours, got some spots today which is most unusual... Confused

Anyway I am just getting ready to go to a yin yoga and meditation class - which will hopefully help with stress levels!

muddyboots · 13/03/2016 18:49

Brilliant news Westergille! I've been at work all weekend so saw your good news on Friday but haven't had chance to post. I did do a little dance when I read it though! Oooooooo!

Thinking of you all who are in a stage of hopeful waiting. I keep thinking about 'my' eggs and if my recipient has had some hopeful news too. She might have them on-board by now... but it's not really my story any more so I'll have to wait. The clinic are supposed to ring me in a week or two to see how I'm recovering so I hope they might have good news for me then.

Physically, I'm almost back to normal. Thursday was a bit sore and I was glad to not be back in work until yesterday. Still don't feel like I will ever have sex again though.

Any word from the clinic NotSpartacus? Or do we need to send in the clowns?

Everhopeful76 · 13/03/2016 20:20

Thanks kwick. I was told to test 2 weeks today but I can see myself doing it sooner

I am convinced my sore boobs was from menopur. Still hurt a bit. R u still on injections for luteal support? I ve just got progesterone pessaries. I have already experienced a fluttery feeling in womb but I am micro spotting. Good plan to do the yin yoga and meditation
