anyone else glad the first week of school and all the blooming proud photos are now over with?!

how many proud photos of the first day at school can someone take when going through infertility? and might i add all were sent directly to me from friends who know the exact situation i am in...not just plastered to facebook but also feel the need to send photos round regardless of whether that person actually gives a toss.

I hear ya! Grrrrr.....

My FB feed was crammed full of those... right after everyone had posted pictures of their 'family' holidays :-/ I have a condition that means I can only do a little exercise and having been a 'gym bunny' for years all the 'I've been for a run' posts get right up my bugal too! I just remind myself that people don't mean any harm and that I'm sure I've said/done things that have unintentionally hurt others too. We just have to stay positive :)

No. It's a hard balance to keep. I want to remain interested in my friends lives and don't want to be that person who you have to careful what you say in front of. But I also just wish they would have a bit more empathy and tact. Like leave your baby at home with their dad so we can meet for coffee and not have to revolve it around feed times and nap times!! Grrr.

Fuck all those women. I'm in a bad angry place. Too many fucking FB announcements. I've blocked so many people and they still keep fucking coming. If they're not putting photos of their own babies it's videos of random fucking babies doing "adorable" shit.
Also seeing constant "baby on board" badges on the tube is a daily nightmare. I'm a slither away from commissioning one that says "I'm barren as fuck. Keep walking".

icy I feel similar, but your badge idea did make me laugh a bit, in a very black way.

On Friday I found out our IVF cycle had failed. That afternoon I was being introduced to a new team at work and the young lass who was doing the introductions was pregnant and delightedly listed about 5 others who were also pregnant or had just had babies "ooh, don't know what's in the water". OK she had no way of knowing about my issues but seriously, shut the fuck up about babies at work people.
