Could be ov pain kurama try and DTD tonight or in the morn if he's up for it.. Or Help him out a bit?

Thanks Stone and Ridgway... I did an internet cheapie test last night (couldnt wait!") but it was BFN. It's probably right but also aware that it was the wrong time of day to test and probably a few days too early, so just going to wait and see if AF turns up. However I've been feeling pretty grouchy and emotional over the last 24 hours so I think te bitchy witch is on her way unfortunately, rather than anything more exciting...

Kurama try not to worry, my FC says that as long as there is some spermies waiting in there from uprotected sex in the previous week, then there is still a good chance of conception. Its a myth that you have to have sex that day or the day before to get pregnant.

Good luck- I get a tight lower abdomen when I ovulate so its a good sign really!

Hi everyone. Been away camping at the Tour in Yorkshire this weekend which was great except for AF starting!

I should've spoken to the hospital this morning but couldn't get through and to be honest don't have much motivation for another clomid cycle! Not sure I would be given more scans this month as have had 3 cycles now but next consultant apt not until Sep. Might try ringing again but tempted to just leave it this month as the side effects have been grotty.

Having mixed feelings about trying progesterone cream as I have short LP and pre-AF spotting plus I had an email from DuoFertility (BBT monitoring) saying that they thought my prog was low according to my temps... I want to try it but am a born rule follower so feel naughty as my consultant really dismissed the idea of LP problems.

That's a coiincidence Kurama as I had a similar pain just above and going in towards my left hip bone on Friday. It could have been constipation or wind but I have been worried. Most likely unnecessarily so as it doesn't fit in with my treatment schedule as I had a trigger shot on the Sunday prior and should have ovulated between then and the Tuesday and a scan on Tuesday showed only very small follicles looking like I had indeed ovulated. The follicle I had was on my right hand side too so left side was all wrong. I don't believe I did ovulate though as don't think the follicle was decent enough to have stuck around (long story).

Kurama that sounds like ovulation pain! I've got this right now and it's always on my left side. It's like a dull period pain but concentrated in one particular area.

Sharon I was asking for advice on how to remove my softcup! I've started using it for the first time today & didn't know how to get it out! It's essentially like a moon cup and the idea being that you insert it after DTD with the aim of keeping the sperm in place!

Thanks blonde and Sharon. God if it is ov it's the latest it's ever been at cd24 I only have 31 day cycles on clomid I'm hoping I ovd on cd 18. Still feeling sick and abdomen feels really tight and kinda sore at mo. Like someone's pressing on it also mega tired today so fx lol

Kurama since reading about you I am up on tender hooks that I have missed my slot too. My pain was on Friday. It doesn' t make any sense for it to be ovulation pains as I had trigger on the SUnday, IUI MOnday and scan on Tuesday showed follicles had gone. Also the mature follicle I had was on the right yet pain on the left. I am not convinced that I ovulated after trigger though (despite follicles disappearing between the previous scan on Friday and then on Tuesday again) as my cervical mucus was gluey and not sperm friendly at all. Was still gluey on Friday though. The pain I had was at my hip bone. I've never had it there before. I have been quite constipated so that is possible but I am often that way and no pain ever there. The closest dtd was Tuesday night which was probably too late if anything did happen. The only explanation if I did ovulate on Friday would be that between Tues and Fri a follicle appeared and grew of it's own accord (follicles weren't even growing with drugs so that is unlikely) and I then ovulated on the Friday (on my own which is also unlikely as this never happens either!) Suppose will know when and if AF arrives going by the dates (although I am not expecting that either as don't think ovulated after trigger anyway so not going to work in the first place.) Rant over. Anyone any thoughts??

Hi Impatient, sorry I haven't read the whole thread but have you asked to be put on progesterone suppositories before? I had a 8 - 10 day luteal phase every month which I'm sure is the reason for not ever having been pregnant. Last month I was on clomid and progesterone with IUI and although it was a BFN, I was still delighted my luteal phase was 15 days, which surely would give an egg a chance! My preogesterone had always come back as low, but funnily enough the doctor didn't prescribe the progesterone automatically, I had to ask for it. So possibly they thought the clomid would fix the problem itself. But I haven't read anything that says there's any disadvantage to taking progesterone, even if it wasn't necessary.

sharon could it be early implantation? im being bad too and googling early symptoms, fx for everyone!

That would be wishful thinking kurama. Never heard of implantation pain. It's torture isn't it? I'd like sedated and woken up when it's my timex

Cd 21 here and had another scan today. 2 follicles of interest. Unfortunately this is now an abandon cycle as DH is away at the end of the week when IUI should have happened. But my dosage of gonal has been increased for my next cycle.

Just back from ivf clinic and had an internal scan. I'm on cd 4 today and on last 50mg of clomid. I've never been monitored on any of 5 rounds of clomid so this is the nearest I've had to it. The consultant was pleased to see 4 follicles on left and 10 on right and said this was above average for my age. Does that sound right???

I also got tested for AMH which I'll get back in a couple of days.

Going to wait to find out where we are on nhs waiting list before pursing ivf privately.

i wouldnt know annie ! ive never been monitored over my 5 months of clomid i do not count having scans for 2 months due to ruptured cysts .....
the pain im in today is a mix of 1st day af pain and a milder version of ruptured cyst pain the only thing i can face eating today is frosties without milk, ginger biscuits and milk/tea. headache, backache and severe nausea. i hate my body right now.... sorry for moaning but im kinda worried right now, work was not fun today because of it.

kurama it's so shit not being monitored!! Hope you feel better soon. I have found last few AF pains really sore, floors me for a few days. Hope it goes soon xxx

kurama that doesn't sound normal. Can you get checked out?
