stone when should you of been due your period? I had 6monyhs on chlomid and they were mainly ling cycles, the first 2 or 3 months were around 32-34 days, month 4&5 were way longer, up to 74days and month 6 was spot on.....28days. I ovulated on day 14, day 21 bloods came back 42.7 and then I never got my period..........got my 20week scan today.

Try not to think too much about it and when you do come to testing use first response. I used a cheap boots one at first and after a few mminutes there was a very faint line, then when I did the first response both lines came up straight away.

Relax as much as you can, be sure to let us all know your results xxx

StoneBaby · 16/06/2014 10:31

kerry thanks. I'm cd 31. During my 4 months on clomid af always appeared on cd29. I'm trying to relax but the nausea makes me so uncomfortable. At least if I was pg, I could appreciate why it's there!

Good luck with your scan

OP posts:
kerrylou84 · 16/06/2014 11:09

Thankyou xxx

I didn't get any symptoms to start with, just tiredness around 6weeks which was really bad. I've been lucky as not had any sickness and just 2 or 3 days of heartburn.

Got my fingers crossed for you......it's sounding promising!xxx

AnnieHoo · 16/06/2014 12:10

Ahh I'm sorry Kurama that sucks. Hmm. How many months on Clomid is that for you now? Do you have an appointment to see fc again and review how it's going? I can't remember if you have a diagnosis or it's "unexplained infertility" like me. You are young though so I hope you're getting all the right tests and appropriate treatment. It is overwhelming and crushing but I find having an action plan in place every month helps to keep me more positive than I would be without one.

Good luck with your 20 week scan Kerry. can't believe you're 20 weeks already! Smile x

Stone fingers x'd... All sounds good but you know what it's like with the crazy symptom spotting. I can't help myself and test with internet cheapies until I see something resembling a line and then crack open a FRER. F's x'd for you.

We need a BFP soon! Smile

kurama · 16/06/2014 14:41

annie ive just started month 5 today. they said it is pcos but ive only had one cd21 bloods on 1st month and a few scans but that was only due to cysts rupturing. I may ask for bloods myself this month. think my next app with hosp is july/aug time as they only gave me another 2 months worth of tabs. useless bastards that they are.
I suppose the arthritis isnt helping matters and could be why its taking longer. they did say it would affect things Angry

fx stone although ill miss u as a cycle buddy when you do get ur bfp ill be happy for youGrin

AnnieHoo · 16/06/2014 17:34

It would be good if they could do your bloods every month, worth asking. Every bit of information helps...

As you say, it might just take that extra wait. And will be so worth it when it happens.

Your next fc appt isn't that far away so you could talk about other options then. I think you're meant to have a rest from Clomid after 6 months of it.

Triplespin · 16/06/2014 19:05

Stone that sounds very promising. Maybe if you wait another couple of days before posting? Do you have an idea when you ovulated?

Kurama are you not being scanned through your cycles? Do you know that there are no other issues or side effects from clomid eg thin lining or no ewcm? I would have a follow up after 5 months.

I am on cd6 which is day 4 of 50mg clomid (3-7), so just one more to go. I also started on metformin just 500mg in mornings for a week, then I will up it to 1000mg and finally to 1500mg. Hoping I am one of the lucky few for it to work in first cycle - but I very much doubt it!!

kurama · 16/06/2014 19:54

nope no scanning, i have no idea if there are any other issues or side effects.... i was at docs just now turns out i have a throat infection. but i did ask them to do a day 21 blood test, and i found out that last year i wasnt ovulating and the 1st month of clomid when they did the cd21 test it came back at 60 which he said is quite high?

StoneBaby · 16/06/2014 20:25

triple no idea if / when I ovulated I'm cd 13 after iui.

LondonSuperTrooper · 16/06/2014 20:45

Kurama sorry that AF caught you :(

Stone I've got my fingers crossed for you.

Triple, You are my cycle buddy :) I'm on CD5 but I haven't started my medications yet. I'm always hopeful that this cycle could be my lucky cycle & I'll get a BFP.

Kerry a baby boy - how lovely is that?!

Hi to everyone else.

StoneBaby · 16/06/2014 21:06

A wee boy.Smile That's lovely news Kerry, very real now.

kurama 60 is good! Grin

Triplespin · 16/06/2014 21:42

Kurama 60 is very good. I had 31 and cd21 and was told that it means I have ovulated.

Stone - sorry I didn't realise you had iui. Yes you should definitely be able to test after a couple of days. Fx for you!

Londonsupertrooper - yay we are cycle buddies. Are you planning on taking any medications this cycle or hoping that it may be lucky cycle without meds. Fx for both of us. It's so long to go.
Btw do opks work similarly on opks?

kurama · 17/06/2014 08:29

Wow Kerry that's great news, so happy for you x
Thanks for the confirmation ladies. Stupid hosp didn't tell me anything so no clue what's good bad etc. at least I have all you lovely ladies to turn too WinkGrin

LondonSuperTrooper · 17/06/2014 10:25

Triple I am not on any medications yet. I have been told to take baby aspirin & vitamin D (due to miscarriage issues).

I have an appointment next month for tamixofen (clomid equiv) & will only be prescribed this if I manage to get my BMI to under 30. I've dropped it from 38 and now I'm at 33....... it's going to be a pretty hard slog to lose 20lbs by middle-end of July!!!

Gingerbreadlady1 · 17/06/2014 11:50

kerry congrats, how lovely Smile

Good luck stone

StoneBaby · 17/06/2014 12:11

I caved in and POAS. BFN but I could swear I saw a very very faint line depending on how the light was on it also it may be better not to test after 5 wees and 2 litres of water
