Clomid buddies?

Hi ladies,

I am just about to start my first cycle of clomid 50mg on Tuesday and was wondering if anyone else is just about to start? I'm feeling scared/nervous/excited and everything else! Thought it would help if we could do it together!!

Also I'd love hear of anyone's experience on clomid?

Ovulation normally happens on day 14 so maybe that's why they aren't both dark? I'd pee on them everyday if I was you as it def sounds like something is happening!! Maybe ovaries preparing to release eggs?

Eekk! Exciting stuff! I feel nothing....my lazy damn ovaries.

I've never had pain like this before as don't normally have a period I've got pcos so this is all new to me! I'm glad I found this site it's so nice to have other ppl who are going through the same thing as me. It's making feel nervous for 2moz now as it feels like something is going on just started to get he pain in the right side as well now not as bad as the left but getting a twinge every now and a again!!

I'm jealous you have your scan tomorrow....mines next tues which feels like a lifetime away!

Hopefully you will have 1/2 juicy wee eggs ready to pop! Then at it like rabbits!

It feels like Christmas I'm that excited but also worried in case that they say that the clomid hasn't worked

Aww I'm sure you are super excited! I can't wait until mine too! Lets hope its first time round for us both!

We were told not to have sex at all until the scan....were you the same? And if there are too many eggs at scan we'll be told not to have sex again! Its gonna be a dry month!

No I wasn't told that!! bit late any way now as we have already done it lol I read that if there's more than 2 eggs they might tell us to not have sex and wait till the next month and that seems really unfair as just cuz they can see 3 eggs that don't mean that all 3 would end up resulting in a baby just seems like a wasted opportunity to me!! But got my fingers crossed that there's just one or two. My scan seemed to come around really fast.

I was told the same about the number of eggs and having sex....I think its a personal choice. I wouldn't have sex if there were 3 eggs there just in case - don't think i could cope with 3 babies! Would def go for it if there was 2!!

Not sure why we weren't allowed to have sex in run up??? What time is it tomorrow? You're sooooooooo lucky its here already!!

I'm used to having 3 babies I used to work in a baby room in my own with babies for 6 weeks old so I can handle 3 plus I'd have my other halfs help and I've got really good family who have alway helped me out but I don't think I'd like 3 our house isn't big enough lol and we only moved in jan so hoping to not have to move again that soon!! Our spare bedroom is tiny so 2 would will be a struggle when they got older! I wasn't told about not having sex just that as soon as I had my peirod that we should try and have sex every other night! Scans at 3.45 I'm starting to worry abit now that it's not going have worked and that the pains I'm feeling are nothing put pains and it's all in my head that the clomid could have actually done something and I'm that one step closer to the one thing I've wanted for so long it's so emotionally draining !!

There has been a fall out in the TinyPawz household so it is all picture, no sound. I reckon this month will be a complete bust. Ah well.

I hear ya Cazm! Such a draining process and what pisses me off is that others seem to have it so easy! you're a brave woman thinking about 3 babies! I'm scared i'll not cope with one....I need a lot of sleep! Try not to worry too much as blondie takes another glug of wine

Its so hard - you want it so much, but you're scared to want it in case it doesn't happen, and you have to face ANOTHER disappointment.

Tiny Pawz - there has been a fall out in the blondie household too! It sucks....I HATE wasted months. I reckon we'll be ok in time for dtd though. I hope you're ok? Bloody men Angry

I'm starting to feel really nervous now it's getting so close! 3.45 can't come quick enough I just really want to know if the clomid is working for me.

Tinypawz- any sound to your picture yet? We're ok again. I'm blaming the clomid - I'm on an emotional rollercoaster.....bloody fuming one minute and crying the next!

Nope??. Problem is we are both very stubborn. It'll right itself eventually but this month is wasted which is keeping me in a mood. It's a vicious circle.

Aww I'm sorry to hear that....me and hubs can be like that too....going days without speaking as neither will be the first to cave in!

Since the month is a write off go treat yourself to a girls night with lots of wine!!!

Hope it gets sorted soon x

im on day 10 of clomide. started my period on 30.4.14 started clomid on day 2 for 5 days having bloods on day 21. yesterday I started with pinching pain in my left side. today im starting with shouting pains in left side. is this normal? feeling worried x

Hi ridgeway I'm not sure about the pain though it does seem to be common....my doc did warn me that I might experience abdominal pain around ovulation time so it's more than likely that?
I am on day 9 and I haven't had a twinge! So now I'm panicking cos you all have and I haven't!

blondie im getting worried about this pain now. looked up on the internet and it came back with ep I dont no weather to get checked out or stop researching lol

Oh no Confused Why don't you call the NHS helpline and have a chat and ask them if it's normal?

I have nothing....no pain, no twinges...nothing.

Are you scheduled for a day 10 scan?

no bloods at my dr on day 21 not seeing my consultant untill month 3 all she said if I do get pregant I would be transfered to epu. im craving salt like made. and the pains are worse. hubby spoke to nhs and they said its a good sign. suck it up. I feel like screaming

Well thats good news for you, but not so good for me - lazy freaking ovaries not doing anything!

I have a scan on tues to see if there are any mature follicles ready to release an egg....Cant believe you're not being scanned too....

What is emu? Did nhs suggest you take anything? Paracetamol? Poor you :( Hope you're feeling better soon x

epu is early pregance unit. ive had 2 miscarriages due to low progesterone not feeding the baby. I always got to 10 weeks. so feeling worried and nurves.

just becuase ur not having any pain doesnt mean ur not releasing any. could be u have a higher pain threshold. and im being a worse!!

These moods are having affect on me. and feeling really low!

and always want salty foods! grr

It def affected my moods....I've been crying at the drop of a hat!

I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriages. I'm sure that was awful. Can they give you anything to boost your progesterone levels?

It must make getting pregnant really scary....Confused

it is. but at the samr time its all I want. they said they will put me on injections at epu as soon as im pregant. I already havr my firsy appointment and not even pregant or I dont think I am lol. im having bloods day 21 do my own test to see ig I am pregnant on dat 28. and my first app at epu is the dat after. where therr doing a blood test for hgc

Well I had my scan on fri showed that clomid is doing its Job and could see one very large egg and a slightly smaller one then some other tiny ones so fingers crossed in the next few days I will ovulate!!!! Got to go on wed for another scan to see if the eggs gone then blood test!
