Clomid buddies?

Hi ladies,

I am just about to start my first cycle of clomid 50mg on Tuesday and was wondering if anyone else is just about to start? I'm feeling scared/nervous/excited and everything else! Thought it would help if we could do it together!!

Also I'd love hear of anyone's experience on clomid?

I have started 1st cycle of clomid this week. I'm on day d6 of my cycle.

Keeping everything crossed that it works. I have a 7 year old dd who was conceived thanks to clomid.

2 cycles to get dd. I can't remember any side effects from then.

This time I have noticed very sore norks. Tender and full feeling.

Will this be your first?

Yep this will be my first....hubby already has one soon kinda feeling like I'm broken Confused

I was on the pill for 16 years...came off it in august after we got married, but im not ovulating at all....day 21 progesterone was only 4....and had been using the opks...so went private and the doc put me straight on clomid - yay!

This similar to you?x

I have pcos and have a period roughly about 1 a year if I lucky.

Was diagnosed when I was 18 and told would probably never have children. Dd was and is a miracle. I just hope to be able to give get siblings.

I am slightly panicked about the chance of multiples with clomid. But what will be will be

Oh goodness...she is a wee miracle! And fingers crossed you'll get another :)

I'm a little worried about multiples too...twins I could just about cope with but no more than that!! Also twins would complete my family in one go so I wouldn't have to go through all this again!!

My doc is bringing me back in for internal scan on day 10 to see how many eggs there are and depending on that will either tell us to go ahead and try or hold off as there's too many eggs!

Do you get this too? It's such a mix of emotions!!

No my doc is being very relaxed about the whole thing. Told me just the same as last time. So nothing to do bar dtd and preg tests. If it doesn't work this month I plan to go see him and get detailed instructions.

It is a very confusing time, trying to focus on good vibes but trying not to get hopes up too high.

Fingers crossed for us both (and the many many more who are in the same position).

There is a May bus in conception full of ladies hoping for bfp in May

It is so hard not to get your hopes up! I'm scared to let myself excited cos I can't face the disappointment :(

Will join the May train too....and hopefully we'll both get it first cycle round!

Just to say I conceived first time on clomid and now have 8mo ds so best of luck. And since he was born I've met three other mums that conceived first time on clomid.

Good luck. My Clomid baby is now 4 years old. I have PCOS & it felt like it would never happen.

No weird symptoms here & fell on 3rd cycle after 18 frustrating months of very erratic periods.

I was due to get AF this morn and she hasn't appeared yet....so weird cos normally I'm hoping she doesn't come and now I want her to so I can start clomid tomorrow!

Grrrr our bloody bodies are always playing tricks on us!Confused

Blondie could you be preg already?

My doc just told me to pick a random date and start because my periods were so sporadic

I wish tinypawz! Did a hpt yesterday and it was negative Hmm

Even tho I'm not ov I get a weird one day bleed every 28 or so days....doc told me to count that as day one then take clomid days 2-6......anxiously awaiting AF now.....

Hope AF arrives soon. I'm on D7 today so last day of pills then DTD like a loon from D10-20 (well every other day).

HAHAHA!Our other halves must love this ttc malarky!They get so much action!How many days after the last clomid tablet do you actually ovulate?

Hey tinypaws, AF did arrive! Was day 32 and for the first time since coming off my pill 9 months ago it was a real period!! Thought I was bleeding internally!

This confused me tho as I was due to start clomid on day 2....didn't know whether too or not as periods seem to have returned now, but took it anyways! Took the last one last night so now waiting for a scan next tues to see if there are eggs there! It feels like so far away!!!

CD12 - so you're due to ovulate anytime.....are you at it like rabbits?!

I hate waiting! Everything feels so far away!!!

Just fin my first lot of clomid got my scan 2moz to see if I'm going to ovulate but since yesterday ive been having pains in my left side feels like period pains starting to worrie about it now as I've still got it today just not as bad, has anyone else had any pains with clomid?

My doc told me one of the side effects of clomid can be bad ovulation pain.....maybe that's what you are feeling? Esp as you are close to that time.....surely AF isn't due for another 2 weeks?

Fingers crossed it's your ovaries making some healthy eggs!

I've got no idea what's going on took my last clomid on mon it's really hurting me now and also got back ache. What's AF mean I'm new on here so still getting to know the shorthand lol

Oops sorry AF is Aunt Flo (period)....if you took your last clomid mon which would have been day 6(?) then today would be day 9....ovulation time is any time in next week so could be ovulation pain?....maybe best to phone your doc tho just to be safe?

Lol it's ok I was racking my brain trying to think what it could be!! Yeah today is day 9 it's not that bad that I can't move but it's there just annoying like a period cramp you just get on with it lol. Did an ovulation test and there's 2 lines but ones not that dark and according to the pack they should both be dark lines.
