This is not much of a surprise...

I cannot believe this.

This disaster did not happen because of the depth of water. I agree it is bloody difficult to solve now it has happened, due to the water depth; but the initial disaster could have occurred at any water depth.

It occurred because BP cut corners where ever possible and lax US regulations allowed then to operate in this way.

Ah, but the REAL reason is this.
