has anyone else seen the article about mam teaching her 7yo daughter to pole dance?!

This is the same woman who let her 15yo daughter have botox!
She says its no different to kids on climbing frames
Also says she is doing her a favour as she will need to be able to spot good pole dancers when she is older and takes over her lap dancing club!

Said woman also has had 1/2 million pounds worth of plastic surgery to make her look like barbie!

I am just totally shocked, the poor little girl is having her childhood snatched away from her - seems like she has no choice in all of this as this is all she knows .....

Yes, well, she's in the news again, isn't she?

I admit that I was shocked that a local pole-dancing club had lessons for children

itsybitsy08 · 16/06/2010 14:25

I think its awful!
I reread it properly and the mam also says that the 7yo has expressed an interest in having a boob job when she is 18 (which mam will quite happily pay for) - fgs she shouldnt even know what one is, let alone be wanting one, its just sick!

Sicko.

I went with some friends a couple of years ago (girls Christmas night out) to a pole dance lesson (sold as a keep fit class)

Maybe I am just bitter as my friend was very good and I looked like a walrus trying to climb a drain pipe

I think that woman would say anything to get into the papers.

itsybitsy08 · 16/06/2010 15:20

Sorry riven - im not sure how to link (im on a mobile and i dont know the web address) - it was in the sun today (i know i know, but DP buys it, what can i do?!)

Really unbelievable, its disgusting, her views on parenting are really warped!

Lostartofkeeping secret - i suspect she would too, and i think in a way that is even worse, exploiting her child to get herself and her seedy club publicity!

This woman lives near in the same town as some of my relatives and is always in the local papers. She is a publicity addict and unfortunately uses her children as pawns. If anyone criticises her she says they must be jealous. She applied for the last 'Big Brother' but didn't get in. I just feel so sorry for her children they are just getting dragged up by this sad deluded woman.

BigFatSepticToe · 17/06/2010 18:20

what sort of self image do those kids have to already be talking about plastci surgery.

Its a form of abuse, it really is. She is a nutter!

I think this is the story in question:

Bloody hell. What sort of mum has the ambition that her daughter will take over her pole dancing club. I am optimistic that my dd will be educated and want a profession.
I find the dad's role in this odd as well, he took the photographs of the classy tin foil based pole.

Why would a 15 year old need botox? When I was 15 I was obsessed with trying to look 18.

AuntieMaggie · 18/06/2010 12:37

well its almost like gynastics isn't it? (never done it myself but know a few friends that took lessons at local gym and they said its fantastic exercise)

itsybitsy08 · 18/06/2010 15:03

Auntie maggie, its the fact a 7yo takes an hour to get ready for a pole dancing lesson putting on makeup and selecting an outfit and high heels to do it in! Far too grown up!
Fine for adults, just not 7yo little girls imo!

ERm so 7 year old wants a boob job at 18 does she - when she doesn't even know what her boobs are going to look like yet?
