Can any government really talk to these people after this?

The Taliban has executed a seven, yes you haven't mis-read, a 7 year old boy for being a spy.

He was snatched from his home, tried, and hung as a spy.

This is yet another outrage carried out by these brutal thugs.

These people have absolutely no humanity, love or compassion.

They must have bowls of hate for breakfast.

I am absolutely disgusted.

We may not be able to talk to these exact people but at some point the rifles and bombs have to be put aside and the conversation started if the killing is to stop. When the IRA murdered Tim Parry (12) and Jonathan Ball (3) by bombing Warrington town centre the day before Mothers' Day in 1993 that was just as outrageous, devoid of humanity and filled with hate as anything the Taliban have done. And yet we've managed to move on from such atrocities constructively in the interests of peace. That's the model.... that's the goal

Don't know if anything has been proven yet, though the wedding bomb where 40 (mostly children) were killed was awful

What's the alternative to talking? You can't carry on killing until all your enemies are dead. Because by then everyone's dead.
