Another stupid idea from Boris, cars in London hardly take any notice of crossings anyway, driving through red lights and starting to drive when the light is amber.

But will the cars be able to see the timers?

From the look of the picture I'd say no, so the light will go amber, the count down will start and you will think you have time to nip accross but no, because cars all ways go at amber.

poor old people would worry they wouldn't have enough time!

it's silly really does it really matter if you have to wait a tiny bit longer for pedestrians to cross

I really think the man is mad, this, the stupid shared space rubbish in South Kensington, the pointless routmasters that don't look anything like routmasters.

But then he is a cyclist so what does he know about crossings, we've all seen him go through red lights.
