I was in the swimming pool today when I overheard English holidaymakers discussing their sons poor inflight behaviour with a couple of other kids. General moaning about his fidgeting and kicking the back of the chair. The little girl asked the mum whose chair was being kicked and the mum answered just a lady. The father then piped up, "it's alright, it was a Muslim" followed by lots of guffawing and then a reiteration and correction of pronunciation of Muslim to the kicking child. I know I am in Spain and a bit removed from whats going on in the UK at the mo, but I was absolutely appalled and astonished.
