North Korea torpedoes a South Korean warship with the loss of 46 lives. South Korea is promising 'firm, responsive measures' and North Korea 'all out war' in return. What chance stability in the wider region after this latest act of aggression?

..weird how nothing is resolved after all these years. Dad was shipped out there as a National Service squaddie circa 1950 and saw some pretty horendous things & to no good purpose really. To think that they're still squaring up 60 years later is an odd one.

It is a bit scary, especially as Kim Jong il is a complete raving nutter. Hopefully China will grow up a bit and tell him to stop being such a twat. I doubt it though.
