what's the secret then?

'Do the best you can'.... rather than trying to be perfect (whatever that might be) was the message I came away with. My personal philosophy has been to ignore all the experts, bully-mums and busybodies, trust your own judgement and always remember... you're the boss, not the child! Your little bundle of joy is going to think you're a total idiot by the time they get to 15 whatever you do.
