Died today from septicemia. Always seemed like a nice bloke. I remember reading about him chasing off a gang of bank robbers a few years back.

Being over 40, I remeber him from a series called the Duchess of Duke Street which Mum and I used to love. He was lovely.

My mother used to love that and I've seen the reruns often enough. He was married to Angharad Rees and they lost a son in a car crash about 10 years ago.

I just read this in the paper. I watched a bit of Three Men and a Little Lady the other day and he was in that.

Very disconcerting when people you watched as a child are dying. John Forsythe died this week too.
