I was very saddened when I heard the news of his death last night, what a tragic loss at only 28. Am I the only person to think it is not quite right that the news and sports channels keep showing the point at which he collapsed on the pitch over and over again?

I agree and think that it is disgusting. A friend of mine bought 'The Sun' newspaper into work this morning and the front page pic is the point at which he died - eyes open and everything. Its completely unnecessary and very upsetting, if were the family then I'd be taking legal action. He left 3 young children behind too.

I was quite shocked to see the photo on the cover of the Sun - it was passed around my son's karate class - poor man and his poor family.

Apparently he didnt die until he was on his way to hospital but the picture on the front of The Sun made me feel quite ill. They think he may have had a rare heart defect. How very sad for his family. I agree they shouldnt keep showing it on tv.

I agree TerriB. There was an article in the Mail today of a poor man whose parachute got tangled and they printed a series of photos of just before he landed. Totally unnecessary. My Dad died in an accident and although there was something in the local paper I was fortunate not to see it. The reporter came to the house for details - how insensitive is that? Got told where to go I hasten to add.
