doesn't she think about all the nasty ppl in the world who'd get their jollies from seeing her kids naked? v niave

emmatmg · 23/07/2005 09:08

The thing is, why would any one want to buy them unless they were weird or perverts, she must have realised that.
I don't for one minute believe she didn't concider that and put them on ebay bcause she knew someone like that would want them.

She's a disgrace and a sorry excuse for a mother.

Maybe she should have read that article in the Daily Mail the other day, that would make her think twice about doing such a ridiculous thing.

Lonelymum · 23/07/2005 09:11

I think she sounds very sad. How on earth could she make enough money selling photos of her kids to fund a holiday, and why would anyone want to buy pics of someone else's children? Still, I expect she charged the newspaper/agency for her story so now she is probably in funds. Odd story.

SoupDragon · 23/07/2005 09:14

It wasn't ust a holiday it was "a holiday back to her home state of Wisconsin where a fourth child, her seven-year-old daughter, lives."

Why is the oldest child not with the rest of the family??

jampots · 23/07/2005 09:16

i was going to ask that SD but thought someone would think ill of me for asking

hercules · 23/07/2005 09:16

Was she selling this picture because they were naked or because she thought it was a nice picture?

Mytwopenceworth · 23/07/2005 09:21

nothing wrong with kids in the bath shots - ive got them of my kids, also just bathed baby wrapped in a towel pics of my boys, very cute.

natural thing for a parent to do imo. BUT for our eyes only - remind us how cute they were when we are struggling for reasons not to peg them up on the washing line and leave 'em there!. i would not DREAM of selling them or even showing them to outsiders!! it feels mucky to me.

Ive got a lovely picture of a little girl making a daisy chain, its sweet and i love it but i would NOT want a picture of someones naked child!

Lonelymum · 23/07/2005 09:22

She says because it was a nice picture, with all her other children together.

If I think of all my kids' pictures, I have to say there are a few of them in the bath that are very cute, so I know what she meant about it being a nice picture. But don't get me wrong. My pics of my kids are for my viewing only.

TwoIfBySea · 23/07/2005 20:45

Surely no one is that stupid that they don't realise that photos of that nature have but one kind of buyer!

She is so damn lucky that the buyer wasn't a pervert and £5.50 isn't going to get her very far is it?

I have photos of dst in the bath but they are for our eyes only despite the fact they are funny photos and naturally I think my boys are beautiful. I wouldn't be half-witted enough to post them on the net, particularly for some stranger to buy.

PeachyClair · 23/07/2005 21:45

There's no way she didnt know, surely- no-one is that naive! Poor excuse for a mother, awful, awful, poor kids
