This was interesting: "Edward McMillan-Scott accused David Cameron of "propitiating extremism abroad" and said he feared the Tory leader said one thing on Europe in private but would do another in government."

It's no surprise that such an experienced insider doesn't believe Cameron's PR. If the Conservatives think that they can achieve economic recovery and promote British interests in this globalising world without being "internationalist" in approach, then there's no way they should be elected. And the little-Englander euroscepticism that's become so rife will not be turned back by such a government.
