Newborn baby found dead in Stoke

A newborn baby found wrapped in clothes at an Islamic Centre in Stoke-on-Trent has died in hospital.

How awful

He wasn't found dead, he was alive but later died in hospital,

I wonder if the title ought to be changed so it doesn't upset people, iyswim. How awful

Sorry sausagepastie but I don't think changing the title is going to make it any better. It's shocking and inexcusable.

Perhaps the mother thought the baby would be found straight away and be safe?

I doubt she intended for him to die

If that was the case she would have hidden him somewhere away from people, not leave him in a public place.

that's fine, I know it doesn't make it better but usually threads of this nature are given a less direct title and the word (sensitive) is included so people who might have recently lost a child for instance can avoid.
