what are mums' views on foster carers?

Hester, Dolphin and other rational posters - I think you are doing a brilliant job - smiled at your comment Hester that the klaxon is now ringing for nananina..............anyway I think you are doing well enough without my comments and to be honest I think I am finally growing weary of trying to "debate" (and I use the term loosely) with these irrational ill informed and bigoted posters who think they know more about child protection than people who work in the system, including social workers, health visitors and brilliant foster carers.

You were missed, nananina Yes, it must be very hard to see your life's work so consistently maligned. I'm no expert, but in my journey through the adoption system I've encountered lots that I have real problems with, but also plenty of social workers who I found thoughtful, caring and highly professional.
