Aaaah I guess that as their older two were only a year apart they want the same dynamic further down the family. I'm sure a boy would be lovely but all anybody really wants is healthy baby, healthy mum and I bet the Olivers are no different.

Why would you assume they must be desperate for a boy? They have plenty of money and Jules Oliver has never really wanted anything but to get married and have lots of children (she says so in her book). All power to them.

because Jamie has clearly stated that he'd like a boy, perhaps half-jokingly. but many a true thing said in jest, as the saying goes!

It may be another girl which I'm sure they'll be chuffed about aswell.

I know DH has said to me he'd prefer boys (and lucky for him he's got his wish!). not everyone wants to openly admit it, but people do sometimes have preferences over the gender yet still be happy with whatever comes their way in the end.

OMG who cares and I am sick of Olivers Ramsays et al. Poor Old Delia could not have children and dearly wanted one.
