I just saw this - 8.8 magnitude and some pacific nations have had tsunami warnings. Thankfully, it doesn't seem to be on the scale of Haiti in terms of human loss.

Perhaps not but the footage looks damn scary - I saw the predicted tsunami map and hope that people are safe.

this earthquake is one of the biggest in history (i know that its not one of the poorest countries in the world, but still. ) why the lack of news on the front pages of the news papers tomorrow about this! i dont understand. i would of thought this would be more important news than gordon brown, david cameron or john terry!!
