Man crashes his plane into IRS building (tax office)

Joe Stack, suicide age 53, by crashing his plane into the Austin Texas IRS building.

He appears to have run an IT consultancy:

His suicide note is here, and is attracting some comment, he seemed to believe in 'The American Dream', and got pissed off about it not seeming to be what it was claimed to be:

The plane would be worth $100k alone, but perhaps he had debts.

If it turns out it genuinely was a suicide mission it's an interesting variation on the 'mass shooter' scenario. Going out in a blaze of glory, getting 5 minutes of fame airing alleged greivances on the internet and not caring how many innocent bystanders you take with you seems to be a fairly standard pattern.
