Pensioner not allowed on bus because

he was carrying a tin of paint

I can see why they 'ban' paint because it can make a mess but the article says refusal is at the drivers discression. Surely it would have been better to tell the bloke to just put it in the storage bit rather than carrying it around the bus then it would be secure.

This annoys me because every bloody time I get on a bus round here theres a load of teeneagers upstairs SMOKING WEED. It stinks the whole bus out and is illegal! Yet the bus driver doesn't go and tell them to stop!

The other day I was actually worried because the smoke on the bus was so thick that I was actually feeling woozy! and I had my one year old with me.

Why don't they tackle the people tho smoke/trash/ and spit all over the bus before they start picking on pensioners for bringing home a tin of paint.

And 90% of the buses I have gotten on in the last few years NEEDa lick of paint anyways, they are disgusting!
