That man has one big set of stones

Fair play to him, not many people would be so brave.

Poledra · 11/02/2010 11:19

Dude!!!

choccyp1g · 11/02/2010 11:19

What a fantastic fellow!
I watched it twice, and realised on the second watching that he could have just stayed on same side of the van, (and just had a very very close shave) rather than running back across the track in front of the oncoming train. (and giving the train driver a heart attack).

GrimmaTheNome · 11/02/2010 11:23

I don't very often say 'fuck' out loud at somethign I've seen on the computed (well, except errors in my own code, obviously). But
I said it just then.

TrillianAstra · 11/02/2010 11:27

Woah!

What would have happened if the train had hit the van?

PeedOffWithNits · 11/02/2010 11:30

why did he run back across the track though?

AngryPixie · 11/02/2010 11:31

Bloody hell!

Trillian I'm guessing the person/s in the van would have been killed!!!

PeedOffWithNits · 11/02/2010 11:35

why was the person in the van not out of the van into a safe place, or even trying to push it themselves?

Poledra · 11/02/2010 11:37

Driver in the van was probably desperately trying to start it again - I can't imagine they were thinking straight. As I suspect the man who pushed it wasn't really thinking either (hence the run back across the tracks) - I bet he watches that and thinks 'Fuck me, why did I do that?' (in Argentinian, of course).

TrillianAstra · 11/02/2010 11:39

He had the choice of:
*jump back
*try to continue to push van (he wasn't yet far enough across to stay where he was)
*jump sideways around van

Jump back probably seemed like the best option, at leats that way if he did get winged he would fly free and not be squished between the train and the van.

I meant what would happen to the train - probably not anything good.

Poledra · 11/02/2010 11:41

I'm guessing that at least the front carriage of the train would have derailed; it wasn't going too fast, as it managed to stop but still, there was a definite potential for fatalities.

that made me LOL

that train driver must have been terrified too!
