About time the judiciary in Britain came down off the fence and started making it legal for all cultures to practice their burial traditions.
I now look forward to more public displays of jazz bands jamming at funeral processions, Trekkies firing coffins at the moon and bodies being slung into the River Thames for a good old corpse disposal.
In the case of Hindu ceremonies I admit I do worry about the results of secondary smoking from the funeral pyres but accept that overall, choosing the method and manner of body disposal shouldn't just be the preserve of murderers and gangsters.
