On the news this evening there was a report about a little 3-month-old baby girl in Haiti who will die in the next week unless evacuated for urgent head surgery. But the US military won't let her leave the country because she doesn't have any papers (WTF??) Not sure what's worse, that she's so injured or that her mummy is dead.

Is there anything that can be done?? It's just so heart-rending. Not enough time to write to anyone. I am seriously considering faxing the US embassy in London
