How rousing to see so many thousands of people ,young and old,and of all nationalities out on the streets of London celebrating and remembering the end of WW2.I know it's a cringeworthy national anthem,but the words "mother of the free" certainly mean something to me today.My family and I did our usual Sat London thing-Borough market,then nice walk back to Liverpool st and I was gladdened to see how lovely and busy the capital was,lots of families out and about.
