What's wrong with my car? Smokey rubber smell and juddering.

What do you reckon. It judders and I'm revving at lights to stop it cutting out, there's a funny noise at the back and a smell of burnt rubber builds up.

Any ideas?

why is this ?

Juddering at the lights.. clutch?

Is the timing out? Does it run on when you turn the key to off?

I don't think it runs on. No the handbrake isn't on Lionstar how very dare you!

A funny noise at the back could well be a brake sticking on. Have you noticed fuel consumption going up?

Our car did a juddery thing and kept cutting out. Was something to do with an emission thing or something like that. Was annoyingly expensive to sort out sadly. Do any warning lights come on? Ours did - but can't remember what it wS like .

I think it may well be the back brake stickking. Sounds cheaper than the emission thing.

Fingers crossed. I need that car so badly.
