Huge apologies for linking to The Mail, but story here
I came across this as I am a member of the "If Rod Liddle becomes editor of The Independent, I will not buy it again" group on Facebook. Liddle has apparently been posting on the Millwall FC forum under the nickname 'monkeymfc'. He initially denied this, but has since admitted that 'most' of the posts are indeed written by him, although he denies some of the worst posts, claiming that a hacker wrote them
The Mail article includes some of his quotes, but perhaps not the worst, which include "Holocaust jokes in Auschwitz, calls for women to be "kicked in the c*", claims that black people already have their own TV programme - Crimewatch, discussions of the personal inadequacies of Somali immigrants, and more" according the the FB group. I had a quick look at some of the comments he is alledged to have made on the Millwall site and they are quite vile, including starting a thread naming which (female) news presenters he'd like to fist.
Oh, and ignore the usual comments left on the Mail's website - you know what they're going to say!
