You're just going to let that speak for itself, I take it.

Big heh.

RockBird · 16/01/2010 08:04

FFS, a few overweight people standing in a queue is not going to make a floor collapse unless it was made of cardboard. But hey, why let that get in the way of a good story?

Georgimama · 16/01/2010 08:13

Oh come RockBird, clearly the floor was unsound and would have collapsed sooner or later but it's just funny timing. I'm a fat bird and I think it's funny.

That just IS funny..

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 16/01/2010 08:15

and even if it had happened to ME i would see that it was funny!!

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 16/01/2010 08:16

(and it could, after Xmas!)

RockBird · 16/01/2010 08:19

Georgie I bet they don't think it's funny. Anyway, it's not so much that, it's that it's 'funny' enough to print in the Times. Because we can laugh at fat people, that's what they're there for.

Sorry, bad timing. To be told elsewhere that I'm morally and physically disgusting has upset me. Bad form to mention another thread I know but...

Georgimama · 16/01/2010 08:22

Oh I know what you're referring to but that poster is just a moron and to be ignored. She clearly has serious issues. It's like someone saying gay people are morally and physically disgusting or something - just so ridiculous it isn't to be taken seriously.

You don't know they didn't find it funny. Some probably did and some probably didn't. I would have done if I was there.

FlightAttendant · 16/01/2010 08:25

Who said that Rockbird?

Someguy I'm sorry to say this has confirmed my view of you as not terribly witty.

EleanoraBuntingCupcake · 16/01/2010 08:28

IN SWEDEN! i though everyone in sweden had a perfect bmi and shone with nordic loveliness.

RockBird · 16/01/2010 08:29

You're right, of course. Ignore me, just being over sensitive

Georgimama · 16/01/2010 08:35

Over sensitive is my forte. Don't worry.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 16/01/2010 08:51

I didn't mean to cause offence either, I could do with Weight Watchers myself.

RockBird · 16/01/2010 08:55

Don't be silly Fanjo, it's me with the sense of humour failure .

Might go and make a bacon sandwich to cheer myself up

edam · 16/01/2010 09:08

(And I'm a lard arse myself.)

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 16/01/2010 09:14

i can understand the failure if someone had made these hideous comments on another thread . I would be looking at my own morals if I was them.

edam · 16/01/2010 09:23

Oh, someone prejudiced enough to say those things clearly has issues and deserves scorn mixed with a bit of pity if you are feeling particularly kind.
