oooh how bizzarre!

i don't think it's trickery, so much as the lamb just had a weird deformation. which just happens to resemble a human face

DelGirl · 14/01/2010 23:03

It looks like an older face but if you think of the shape of a lambs head that would distort the features a bit I guess so it could well be half human. Gross

MaggieMnaSneachta · 14/01/2010 23:27

imagine if a human mutation was to emerge looking like a sheep.

ewe!!

(geddit)

Is it going to give me nightmares if I look before I go to sleep?

giraffesCantWalkInSnow · 14/01/2010 23:43

how creepy

RockBird · 14/01/2010 23:48

I'll take that as a yes then

UnquietDad · 15/01/2010 14:10

Was this in Wales?

thatsnotmymonster · 15/01/2010 14:14

UQD

Yuck- I think it is just an unfortunate genetic mutation

Peachy · 15/01/2010 14:25

Oh that poor goat kid and the way it was treated

It'sachance mutation nothing more, just a freak thing.

HowManyTimesDS · 15/01/2010 14:30

"The governor of the province where the ugly goat was born said that the little goat was the fruit of unnatural relationship between the female goat and a man"

FFS! Poor little thing.

displayuntilbestbefore · 15/01/2010 14:37

more likely that it's coincidence that the mutated head of the lamb simply happened to be in shapes that could be seen to look a bit face-like and because anything linked to genetic mutations or cloning is top news these days, it was jumped on as a story.
We had a pile of snow in the corner of the garden that looked a bit like a horse's head but funnily enough it didn't get any journalists speculating as to the sculptural genius of the snowflake

GreenMonkies · 15/01/2010 14:39

If you look carefully and imagine the face stretched down so that the features are in the right place for a lamb they are actually pretty normal. It's almost as if the skull bone has grown and the skin on the head isn't big enough and all the features are left on the front of the face, instead of being pulled down onto the end of the snout/nose.

I dread to think how the villagers killed that poor baby goat in Zimbabwe, I doubt it was quick and humane....

KurriKurri · 15/01/2010 15:06

I'm only surprised there isn't a programme on channel five about it. 'When lambs turn h-ewe-man' perhaps.

UnquietDad · 15/01/2010 17:09

(btw I am half Welsh so my joke is OK)

"When Humans Turn Baaaaaaaad?"

IncontinentiaBotox · 15/01/2010 17:17

LOL, some bloke somewhere will be wearing dark glasses and a balaclava for a while

BertieBotts · 15/01/2010 18:39

Yes OK you could stretch the face down but the nose being so human seems wrong to me... I am sure that it could happen, but I think this one is a fake.

LaurieFairyCake · 15/01/2010 18:43

why does this fake crap only ever happen in some out of the way place

I'm reminded of Frankie Boyle when talking about alien abductions and how they always happen to some guy pissed and crapping in his hand. As if the aliens go: "oh look there's some guy crapping in his hand he must be an ambassador"

sockmonkey · 15/01/2010 19:10

ick. How very odd.
LOL @ UQD
