He has left a widow and 3 children, one a baby of 19months.

I am surprised how much this has affected me tbh but I think it is because when the soldiers die, they are doing their job and know the risks. Somehow a journalist doesn't seem to fit the box of dying for his job.

I do think a journalist is also doing their job and know the risks but it doesn't make it better does it. I see journalists as a bit like Switzerland

I am so sorry bronze. I did think twice about posting in case anyone who knew him read it but I think we all have to face the consequences of this terrible war.

It is. It is hard to say everyone needs to be brought home when the parents of soldiers killed say they need to stay out there.
