Well guess I am not welcome then

Here I just wonder if ANYBODY there finds what they are looking for - or do they perhaps get exactly what they deserve - some vain and self absorbed twat who cannot see beyond image?

"Letting fatties roam the site is a direct threat to our business model and the very concept for which BeautifulPeople.com was founded."

Wtf is wrong with this society?

This is worrying beyond belief. Why the hell can't people see that it's depth, not surface that matters? Judging people on the basis of how much they weigh is pathetic.

P.S. I'm overweight by 10lbs, perhaps I shouldn't venture out in daylight...

I'm really hoping that quote was tongue-in-cheek because if not then someone needs a swift kick in the reality check. Wow, shallow much?

Beautiful People just thrives on this sort of publicity, sadly. Nothing one can really do about it. The best way to get people interested in something is to show them a room they can't get into!

I'm failing to see why people are getting into a furore about this.A self-described dating site for "beautiful people" is of course going to be shallow by it's very nature and are hardly going to be of the view that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Much more likely is that they will subscribe to the stereotypical media view that beauty includes being in shape.
It's a business venture and they are doing this to get publicity and boost membership.
