I have done an interview for the Mirror about post natal depression, ghastly picture and was quite shocked to see myself on the cover! but quite a good article about inequality in metal health care for post natal women.

Came home early from shopping though, as was fed up of people coming up to me saying "Do I know you..." One woman even said it to me in a cafe as the article was open on her table, but couldn't work out that the reason my face was familar was because it was staring at her!

haven't got the article to hand, I am in a pink top with dd on my knee, both looking glum as we were stuck posing for photos on a very hot day and dd just wasn;t having any of it.

ta st george was about to do that, was slightly worried to see that it is a two part article to be finished next thursday, it has been hard work they have been phoning me everyday, trying really hard to get gory details that don't exist!

I can't find it either, am qute relived , not sure if I want to see the picture up close again.

Basically outlined how I used to avoid dd when she was crying by sitting in the shower! Then got put on AD then admitted into the Bethlem when marriage broke down came out OK only to come up to Lancashire where the care is crap to end up suicidal in a horrible hospital with drug addicts and people who were actually dangerous. Got myself better with help from family and now everything is hunkydory in my new house with lovely dp hence the smily pictures that didn't quite work. I actually look better in the picture labelled suicidal mother!

whenever I read an article about a mum I alays wonder if they are a mumsnetter,

The article was good, they kept trying to get me to "sex" it up as if the story wasn't dramatic in itself but I stood my ground which I am pleased about, you have to be very careful what you say to journalists as they sieze on your every word particularly when you get the impression they already know what they want to write and want to mould your life to fit their template.

Well done you for helping get the message across and for getting on the front page. I will dig it out today.
