Just saw this.... imagine 31/12/2009 and 01/01/2010 as DOB

FAB! i have twins and hate them being classed as one iyswim- would be great to have diff b'days

My sister has a friend with twins that have seperate birthdays, it's quite funny that these were born in different decades though!

Could be worse, imagine if one twin was born on 31st Aug and the other on 1st Sept.

It's not really a different decade though is it? I mean they were both born in the first decade of this millennium. Different years if we're being pedantic.

GothDectective - I think there were twins born earlier this year that were going to be in separate school years.

In North America though, the school year and calendar year are the same, ie. all children born in 2010 will be in the same school year, so they will be in different years!
