I appreciate that this is "legal", and I don't pretend to know what this mother went, and is still going, through, and I don't comment of whether this is right or wrong. My heart goes out to her in what I imagine must be a truly painful and heart-renching situation. I am grateful that I have not been in this situation.

However, I can't help but think of my girlfriend's baby daughter was born at 31 weeks, and is now a beautiful, sensitive 8 year old.

My ds3 was born at 32 weeks, cried at birth and was able to survive on his own. Find it hard to see how this can be justified.
