I'm inclined to think that it was indeed a lovely gesture at christmas, rather than an oppportunistic PR stunt, before anyone suggests it ;)

I'm making no apologies for linking to DM either - I take it all with a pinch of salt!

next time it snows everyone will be trying to get their car stuck in John Lewis carpark . Does it have a Waitrose attached - even better!
