Let's hope they find her soon.

Hulababy · 21/12/2009 20:17

Hope they find her soon.

Ewe · 21/12/2009 20:18

Oh god, how awful, hope she is found safe and well soon.

FabIsGettingReadyForXmas · 21/12/2009 20:21

Poor child.

So young and her mother not concerned to start with as she has "gone missing before" and refused to be named.

MoreCrackThanSantasArse · 21/12/2009 20:24

How awful.
Can't help feeling a little uneasy about the whole story though, a 7yo missing in freezing conditions in pyjamas but mother is unconcerned? And what's with the photo, it looks like it was taken for a previous newspaper story?

welshone51 · 21/12/2009 20:25

I am surprised her mother waited over 3 hours to report her 7 year old child missing, I can understand that she wanted to make sure she wasnt out playing and to maybe ring around friends and relatives but why wait 3 hours and I also think why on earth has a 7 year old gone missing before! I hope she is found safe and well bless her!

Northernlebkuchen · 21/12/2009 20:29

I agree that the idea a 7 year old has 'gone missing before' is a very concerning one. Poor mite - hope she's home soon and the situation can be improved for her.

LastOfTheMulledWine · 21/12/2009 20:32

It is a concern that this isn't the first time, but perhaps also a reason to hope for the best. DH (pc) says that when it's children/teens that have done it before you always find them, or they come forward usually. I do hope this is the case.

LauraIngallsWilder · 21/12/2009 20:38

Hope they find her soon

atlantis · 21/12/2009 22:08

She's apparently turned up back at her home.

phew thanks for that atlantis

LauraIngallsWilder · 21/12/2009 22:22

"an adult had taken her to a party with a friend but her family had been unaware"

I am and tbh

It is fantastic that she is safe but the police wasted hours searching for her - she was at a party and her family didnt even know

What a waste of money and resources
And heartache by the likes of us worrying about her!

Curiousmama · 21/12/2009 22:48

How very odd?

Hulababy · 22/12/2009 08:13

Glad she was found safe.

But what a strange story.

FabIsGettingReadyForXmas · 22/12/2009 08:45

Who would take a child for that long without checking with a parent???

edam · 23/12/2009 20:50

Glad she's OK but it's all very weird.

MaggieAnFiaRua · 23/12/2009 20:53

glad she was found ok, but what an odd explanation. i hope the ss take a wee glance here. she was in her pyjamas, so obvioulsy not dressedn and ready to go out. but a family member took her to a party??

hmmmm.
