Ours went a couple of months ago.
Had only been there 2 years? Had a nice Starbucks in it too.

But on the bright side they've got at least 20% off stuff and 50% off some things. Crap for the staff though right before Christmas

I'm gutted about this actually. I love our local Borders. I go in there after work most Fridays to have a browse and collect resources for school or books for the girls as a treat.

I also use the Paperchase instore to buy cards, stationery and magazines.

Never use the Starbucks as it's always so busy.

In fact, the shop is always heaving, can't believe it's going into administration.

I think most book shops are finding it hard to compete against internet & supermarkets.

I adore borders and am gutted< when i attempt to go clohes shopping and feel fat and glum I abandon it and head to the bookshops.

If you buy anything in Borders They will only accept 50% of the cost as vouchers. This was in the Speke retail park so I presume it's the same in all Borders.
Feel sorry for the staff having to face customers with that one.
