This is such a lovely little muddy boy that I'm only sorry he's not a muddy girl!

It's an old topic, scarcely news, but a very cute picture, and makes me feel better about my DS's phase of eating dirt this summer!

try going out and getting muddy - its great and takes your mind back to childhood if you were ever allowed to get muddy then

We played rugby for a term at school (at 17/18-y-o), and it was FANTASTIC. Not touch rugby, either. We got splendidly muddy, and I discovered I was a bit of a juggernaut when I got going, because of all the extra weight I was carrying. It was a compensation for not being fast! Once, we all piled onto the (male) teacher who was taking the practices: a legitimate tackle, and a very muddy one! I didn't fancy him, but it was fun for the mud and the ripping up of inhibitions!
