no

PoppyIsApain · 18/11/2009 22:28

She was a vicar's daughter, it is expected of him to forgive them, even if in the parents own home they cant, in public they have to really. I couldnt forgive personally.

CarGirl · 18/11/2009 22:29

yes I would forgive but only because as a Christian I have the power of the holy spirit to help me to do so, couldn't do it in my own strength.

JodieO · 18/11/2009 22:55

No I wouldn't. I'm a Catholic.

SixtyFootDoll · 18/11/2009 23:01

would never ever forgive

DollyPS · 19/11/2009 00:21

No way could I forgive.

SolidGoldBangers · 19/11/2009 00:26

I doubt they have, really. They're just peddling the party line.

I could never forgive them.

I feel as if I could, but who knows really? It would take some time. I have read descriptions of forgiveness of very extreme actions and it sounds possible.

I remember reading that the mother of one of the women killed in the July 2005 London bombings had to resign (or whatever the proper word is) from being a reverend because she couldn't forgive the bombers. I guess the concept of forgiveness is intrinsic to Christianity but I couldn't forgive either.
