Hulababy · 05/11/2009 22:18

Oh my goodness; how heartbreaking about the little girl. And what a treasured set of messgaes they must be.

Bleatblurt · 05/11/2009 22:21

Oh God. What a special little girl.

SixtyFootDoll · 05/11/2009 22:25

It was the parents hoping to 'never find the last one' that got me

Sad
smugmumofboys · 05/11/2009 22:33

Oh God. That's so sad. They look just like the notes my 5 year old DS2 writes for me.

What a loving and thoughtful little girl. So sad for her poor family.

Servalan · 05/11/2009 23:38

That is such a lovely story, but so, so, sad

FanofFireworks · 06/11/2009 02:49

"In fact, both parents have saved one unopened note from Elena which they carry with them in their briefcases.

'It's our way of saving the last note,'"

SixtyFootDoll · 06/11/2009 07:40

Fof that has started me off again

God that is so sad, I'm crying . My 4yr old writes notes like that almost everyday and I keep most of them, I suppose in case anything happened.

LilyLoovesGuyFawkes · 06/11/2009 11:02

What a moving report

GypsyMoth · 06/11/2009 11:10

they were told she has 135 days left? well, that bit got me! can you imagine as each day ended, counting how many she had left.

the doctors were very precise with that.

That was a beautiful heartbreaking story. I was in tears when I read it. My daughter is called Elena too...
